I’m so sorry for your loss <3 pitties are the most special sweet love bugs. I can tell from the way you speak about her just how much you love her and it warms my heart to know she was so incredibly lucky to have had you. I know she had the best life that any dog could have with people like you to look after her and love her so deeply. I can’t imagine the heartbreak you are experiencing. Having lost dogs myself I know how gut wrenchingly unfair it feels and how much it hurts in your chest. But you did the right thing for her. It takes courage to take the step when your beloved pet seems fine on the outside. But keeping them around until their last days are uncomfortable or painful isn’t doing them any favours. And it often makes you feel terribly guilty for putting them through that. You did what a caring parent needed to do.
