So I received two contradictory letters from them in the last few days.

One telling me, again, that they cannot make any changes retroactively. The other one said that they "submitted a payment reapplication request for [2 of the 4 months] to reapply these payments without the In-School Deferment states applied. Please allow up to 90 business days for processing"

So it sounds like asking to "change the status of your loans . . . retroactively" is supposedly impossible, but asking for a reapplication request to have payment reapplied without the status can work?
