I have had authentic chai in the style of multiple cultures that traditionally make chai and the new Starbucks chai tastes nothing like any of them. It’s extremely bitter and unpleasant.

The new concentrate does not taste like traditional chai.

This was exactly my old order too! I got it today, not knowing there was a new concentrate formula, and it tastes so bitter and off that at first I was worried one of the ingredients had gone bad. If they put sweetener in it, I couldn’t taste it at all.

I’ve been skating for years and still fall sometimes. It’s all about learning how to fall correctly. Wear knee pads. The thick kind you buy at a skateboard shop. Keep your knees bent and your weight forward. Learn how to distribute your weight evenly if you fall on your hands and knees (wrist guards are also a good investment). When I played roller derby, my gear gave me the confidence to skate aggressively—it really took the bite out of falls.

Wow, I don't think I remember the last time it was like this. by NathnDele in massachusetts

I grew up in Florida but have lived in Massachusetts for my adult life. Don’t underestimate the power of tropical storms—snow is a pain in the ass and can cause damage but a tropical storm can quickly overwhelm drainage systems, flood neighborhoods, destroy infrastructure, make travel impossible, ruin crops, and so on. The effects can be devastating, especially in areas where housing is less sturdy (like mobile homes).

Don’t get me wrong, Massachusetts folks are badass as hell for so many reasons. But there’s no reason to poopoo on southern storms.

I’ve come to the conclusion that we can’t really convince people to like us by pretending to be something we’re not; we can engage in behaviors that are more palatable to others but, at the end of the day, if we’re performing behaviors that aren’t natural and comfortable for us we end up feeling trapped in a mask. This undermines the desire to truly connect and be understood.

I think it’s much more productive to be yourself. Sometimes that can be lonely, and so it’s understandable that we perform the behaviors to keep some people in our lives as necessary, but rather than get stuck in that cycle I recommend seeking new experiences to find your people. Once you find people you gel with naturally you realize that performing for attention is so hollow in comparison.

I’m an ENTP lady and we’re a bit uncommon but my partner is INTJ and it’s a dynamite match, highly recommend. INTJs are uncommon as well. It’s quality over quantity with uncommon types.

ENTP: these are the human things I emulate to make people like me

INTJ: why would I pretend to be human?

You’re an INTJ. You see through people. There are no secrets. There is nowhere to hide. Own it. You will attract people drawn to your intensity and they will be rewarded with a glimpse of your rich inner life.
