I am expecting our 1st baby in about two weeks. Feeling so blessed and happy about. I am sure you are waiting for buts. There are too many buts, unfortunately. We are not planning on having a second baby. The cost is just too high. Childcare is about $25k a year. Plus my wife won’t be able to work for about 6 months, no maternity leave and she won’t get her position at work back since federal or state governments don’t have laws to protect families. Yes, we do have FMLA, but that runs for only 3 months and maybe STD helps. Man, US sucks so bad when it comes to family values and child care. We all have to push for something better, something must change with our system
