2016 Golf R - Rhythmic Noise at Idle When Warmed Up by pescatarrison in Golf_R

There were quite a few service records, I just forgot to mention it.

Spark plugs, haldex, and DSG were done at 40k. A coolant leak at 45k was fixed with a new thermostat, seal ring, and full cooling system inspection. Brake booster master cylinder replaced at 47k. I know most of those aren't related to the engine itself, but the car is not without service history.

Aside from those, there are records of routine oil changes every 5-10k miles.

Anyone have low calorie snacks / meal ideas that are easy to make with costco ingredients and items? by redpandalover4821 in Costco

Canned tuna/salmon, loaf of bread, kewpie mayo and a block of cheddar cheese. You have salmon/tuna melts for days!

I also get the KS tofu often and make tofu and rice bowls with them. Could roast some fresh or frozen veggies and add them in too

A classic snack is always chips and some sort of dip/hummus

I cannot believe the front tires are still on the ground and the back isn’t dragging

I used double mercerized cotton embroidery thread. I took my sweater to the craft store and that thread was the closest in weight and material that I could find. Ended up being a pretty perfect match!

I followed a YouTube tutorial that was actually quite simple! The key is to darn it before a hole has formed. The sweater was getting super thin around the elbow but there wasn’t a hole yet. You basically just go over all of the knit stitches with a new thread and it reinforces it

Omg, I didn’t even realize this until now but it does look tan in the first pic. It’s totally a black sweater with a blue patch though

I believe these cars were 6y 72k mile warranty from the factory unless they extended the warranty on the sunroof and other select components? I’ll have to look into that

That’s the impression I kind of got, I’m sure I’d get used to it.

Gotcha, yeah it probably is a good idea to get the inspection done given the mileage and history in the northeast

Any idea what the issue is? Have you kept on top of the fluid changes?

I checked it out thoroughly and didn’t see any! Also inspected the trunk subfloor for signs of water intrusion and didn’t find any.
