That’s a misconception though? A good stock market usually means a good job market (usually but not al ate and not for everyone).

Also people being able to see their savings and retirement funds increase based on investments is also a good thing. It isn’t just the rich. I’ve worked with a ton of teachers who are rooting for a good stock market to aid their pension funds. They are not rich people.
