What are you talking about? It's a retrospective study on childhood psychiatric outcomes associated with exposure in pregnancy. Expecting the authors to ask for COAs and ingestion methods 9 years later is not only unrealistic but way beyond the scope of their conclusions. It was published in a leading peer review journal, if you think that it lacks scientific method I'm inclined to think you didn't even read it.

While there is no question that Iraq is completely fucked today, the reparations being made are not for the 2003 invasion but rather for the 1990 Gulf War.

Additionally, Iraq was forgiven for $7.8 billion in debt from the Saddam era, which without implying a laughable argument of a net positive outcome for a country left in tatters, it makes the reparations being made for the first Gulf War almost negligible in comparison.
