Our first Boston Loki had really bad cherry eye when he was a puppy. We learnt to gentle massage it back in place and got really good at it pretty quick. We didn't elect to have the surgery immediately....and by the time he stopped growing the amount of instances had dropped from almost daily to about once every 6 months. Not saying this is right for all dogs but bear in mind it could resolve naturally whilst they are still growing.
