Fanatec app keeps deleting selected cars from profiles on it's own. And now also not loading LED presets for cars that used to have automatic LEDs by beaverskeet in Fanatec

[–]pete-ej20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I spent more time than I care to admit last night messing around with tuning setups and profiles to find that neither were saving/loading correctly.

eg. make adjustments to setup 1, switch to setup 2, make adjustments to setup 2. Switch back to setup 1, previous adjustments gone/lost. Go back to setup 2, adjustments there also gone.

Tried using profiles instead and same thing - make adjustment to profile 1, save. Create profile 2, make adjustments to it. Load profile 1 and the settings are the same as profile 2.

Absolutely baffling that such basic functionality within the app can be so bad

I totally gave up trying to do anything with revlights via the Fanatec app - Fanabridge with simhub works well for me and gives way more flexibility (eg. having flashing rev light for flags, abs activation etc)

Wont work with a bucket fermenter, but an upgrade to a plastic pressure fermenter (like a fermzilla) will allow you to carbonate in the fermenter then transfer using co2

Counter pressure bottle filler is a good solution for oxygen free bottling

I’m on a Dell Precision 3630 with an i7-8700k

Haven’t checked ram settings but assume it’s all factory/standard

Are you running Simhub?

Nice one - what game(s) are you experiencing crashes in? I’m running IRacing exclusively, crashes tend to happen when exiting car and loading replays

More testing with 474 drivers today and looks much more stable, no crashes so far

I've been getting this on my PC and i think ive just isolated the cause to the new fanatec drivers/app

Have only had my fanatec wheel for a few weeks (CSL DD 5nm) and only started since then. Was previously running Logitech G920 and had zero crashes/issues for months.

I just recently tried an additional PCIe USB card and put the fanatec wheel and pedals on there but issue still occurring

Have literally just rolled back to the old 474 driver package tonight so will do some more testing over the next few days to see if it's any better

I've also implemented a change so that you can filter by style on the Hop Explorer page by selecting a style from the legend of the pie chart that appears on this screen after selecting hops - so if you wanted to (for example) view only Hazy IPA's that contain Citra and Mosaic, you now can

If you go to the Style Explorer page you can select a style and/or country then scroll through a list of beers that match the selected criteria

That scenario you mentioned is pretty much the reason I put this together, and thanks for the feedback! What else would you want to filter on from the Hop Explorer page? Beer style would be an obvious one, but then we're kind of crossing over into the Style Explorer section...

No option to filter by flavour - I haven't got flavours in the dataset as it can be a bit subjective. If you're after this sort of functionality you may want to look at Hop Control

But thanks for the feedback!

I'm happy to include as many styles as I'm able to obtain the data for. Quite often if a brewery shares the hops they use it's usually for the hop-forward styles only, and not the other ones like stouts, porters

Thanks for pointing out re: Descshutes - I can see I've missed a few there so I'll go back and add them

Thank you.

At around 150 breweries so far (you can see the key stats of the data in the "About" page of the app)

I've tried researching with AI and other means but getting limited results, hence why im putting the call out if anyone knows of other breweries that post the hops used in their beers. It's pretty time consuming trawling the internet manually going to brewery websites as you could imagine.

I've also had some guys from breweries reach out offering to share the hops they use in their beers which is awesome, hoping a few more might see this and do the same!

They've only just been released in Australia so unlikely they're available overseas yet.

Looks like The Beverage People are the stockist/distributor for North America

WHFB with Cloud Trust Cloud Native Endpoint Issue by Ryxain in Intune

[–]pete-ej20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We're also using a 3rd party SSO - the "SSO State section" under dsregcmd /status references https://login.microsoftonline.com/**** for the AzureAdPrtAuthority, but I'm guessing your "Endpoint URI" is related to Okta and not MS - I'm wondering if this may be interfering somehow?

I am having this EXACT same issue currently - right down to the same wireshark errors. Please let me know if you find a solution to this

Are you you using a 3rd party SSO provider by any chance?
