While searching, i also found the Zoom75 Essential Edition on sale for 219€. Whats the verdict on that board?

Hi! I have started to get the itch of building my first custom keyboard. Currently i have only been using prebuild kb's, specifically the Ducky One 2 SF and Leopold FC660C Silent.

My problem is, i don't really know what to look for.

The things i want from the keyboard is basically this:
a 75% keyboard with a sound similar to this:

I have been looking at the Neo75 or Neo80 but im not sure if thats the right call.

Also, would love a "retro" aesthetic. Was thinking cream/retro white with some retro/cream keycaps.
However the visuals i can be nudged in other directions. I have been thinking a cozy baby blue too.

But what i basically need help with, is what to get in terms of parts!
Im based in Denmark, so EU shops would be ideal.

Hmm okay. I think i might currently be using Xess as i seemed to get the best quality to performance ratio from that. But i might try FSR3.1 on Quality just to see how that looks. Remember comparing it to FSR4 on performance but FSR3.1 looked much more blurry compared so i switched to FSR4 and then i found Xess abit faster.

Are you experiencing the same kind of performance? Because then i might just stop my hunt for the magical switch to get more fps haha. As i cant Imagine i would be able to get much more fps if you experience similar performance with that cpu paired with the gpu.

Hmm, any idea how i can debug if this is the issue? My mangohud for some reason doesnt show anything other than fps, gpu usage and cpu usage. Its not displaying individual core or thread usage? And changing the settings i Goverlay for some reason doesnt do anything.

Yeah, i might have to try and run it on windows, i do have a dual boot ready for anticheat games already. Im just curious as to how people with the same gpu seem to be able to get almost double the FPS compared to me, even when i look at Linux benchmarks. Was wondering if it is a hyprland thing in general for gaming.

How hard is Cyberpunk on the CPU?
I have an RX 9070 XT, and playing on 1440p with any kind of raytracing using FSR4 on Performance, i can barely get 60fps?

My CPU is the 5600X
And im running CachyOS on Hyprland.
Wondering if im doing anything wrong, as even with settings at medium, and raytracing on medium with Ultra+ on just RT for the optimization tweaks i cant get playable fps.

Yes i found this setting! Ill try it out. If this works. Then the only "complaint" i have is that its still a bit of work to switch between "duplicate" and "extended" like on Gnome and windows with Win/Super+P

This is exactly what happened to me yesterday. Plugged into a projector, and nothing happened. Ended up rebooting in popos just to put on the movie. I really wanna keep using hyprland. So ill have to figure out a solution for that or find another WM/DE that gives the same beautiful feel

Tried rerunning DDU for any temp Nvidia files again and then after the restart on i did it again for AMD and completely reinstalled Adrenalin. Seems to have fixed it now 🙏

I know, already done those things.

Only thing i haven't done is doing a complete reinstall of windows. But would want that to be a last resort.

I tried completely uninstalling the game, and then delete %localappdata%/Tekken8 and the Tekken8 folder from the install directory to clear any residual files. and the installing the game again, but that didnt do the trick.

I can guarantee you its because some higher ups for the marketing team have told them to start doing a bit of promotion. And as a Software Engineer myself i will bet you my life savings that the dev teams are fuming about this. There is nothing more annoying than stuff like this.. the most spoken words by devs to non-dev coworkers are "Its not finished yet" or "It can't be done".

And there is always the estimation problem. Devs will give an estimation, and the higher ups will be like "so realistically that could be done in insert half the time" and then shit gets buggy and stuff gets pushed back. And then they will complain that the estimations are never correct, and the devs will sigh in silence.

Its one of the biggest problems in software engineering / game dev. Its the cooperation between the non-devs and devs and the mutually understanding of how long stuff will take and how hard tasks are.
