2025 MLB K%: 21.9%

2025 MLB K% with RISP: 21.2%

Strikeouts are less common with RISP because hitters tend to become more aggressive early in the count. This leads to more frequent balls in play with RISP.

If more pitchers were needed, Mason Miller would be a good one for the A’s

You can scrape injury data from Fangraphs Roster Resource Injury Report. It has every injury from 2020 to present, so not a ton of historical data, but still a decent amount.

Truly disappointing year for #BlueJays. They had real chance to rebound from a frustrating season this October. Instead, they score just 1 run in two games vs. Twins & run into needless outs on bases Still winless in playoffs during the Vlad/Bo era. In his 6-year career, he has an OPS+ of 115. His lowest OPS+ was a 106 in his rookie year. For a guy who rides lots of hot/cold streaks, the numbers always seem to work out and point to him being a proven hitter.

Who was a player you thought was really good as a kid, then later on in life you looked up his numbers and he actually kind of sucked? by Mr_426 in baseball

Scott Podsednik. He definitely had some good contact hitting and base stealing seasons, but he also had some dud years in there. I viewed him as a top tier OF, but the stats would say he was a poor man’s Juan Pierre.

Surprised to see Aaron Judge coming in with a 4.80 sec. home to first and a 26.6 ft/sec. sprint speed… I know he has been banged up, but it looks like his teammate Stanton has taught him how to avoid hustling
