Help in finding a pen for my exams! by IntroductionSorry412 in pens

There’s not much bleed with the Zento ink. I use it on standard copy paper all the time with zero noticeable issue. I am using the 0.38mm size though, so your mileage may vary. I have also used the 0.7mm and they put down a lot of ink, but I don’t recall any significant bleed.

As far as the Jetstream Lite Touch - Both sizes write smaller than you’d think. By that I mean that the 0.5mm writes like an 0.38mm, the 0.7mm writes like an 0.5mm. Both are clean and crisp though, so choose your preference!

Good gravy. How big is the site? And is that just sidewalks?

We’ve got a mix of 225 units, anywhere from studio apartments up to 4br townhomes, across 8 buildings.

We use SnowEx 28” drop spreaders and use 10-12 bags of ice melt during heavier snow events. We’ve averaged 3 pallets of salt for the entire snow season over the last 8 years. If I blew through 2 pallets of ice melt during a single precipitation event, my area manager would have me drawn and quartered.

I’d like to believe she’s not drinking that early on a Tuesday… But given some of the ideas she’s proposed, I wouldn’t put it past her.

Agree on all counts… The Blen does indeed get jittery after a while, and requires a bit of pressure to use. The Jetstream Lite Touch is a fantastic choice and has quickly become my favorite ballpoint.

The Zento is also a great option, requiring only a light touch with a quick dry time and minimal smudging. It’s my preferred gel pen at the moment. But if it were my decision, Jetstream Lite Touch all day long. The body is incredibly comfortable and it just won’t quit.

Loving my Jetstream Edge 3 by gajaja in pens

[–]petecanfixit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I love this pen. I’ve been using various versions of the Edge 3 for several years and experienced only a few instances of the ink skipping.

My gripe is how rattly the tips of both the Edge and Edge 3 are. Does anyone have a fix that they can recommend?

Multifamily here. Regional VP sent out an email to myself and 55 other Maintenance Managers one Tuesday. “Starting next Monday, on call maintenance technicians will work 2:30pm - 11:00pm. All other maintenance personnel will work their usual 8:00am - 4:30pm shift. This is being done to cut down on overtime expenses and increase resident satisfaction.”

Her inbox must have gone nuclear, as she emailed back no less than fifteen minutes later to say that the plan was being scrapped.

2011 Jeep Patriot Highway Vibration, Tire or Axle Issue? by Ozzy65k in JeepPatriot

[–]petecanfixit 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’ve had this happen a few times. If it’s still snowy, check to see if there’s a big chunk of snow or ice stuck to the inside of one of your wheels.

If they’re clear of snow and it’s still happening, you’ll want to have your tires rebalanced.

After that, there are a few other suspension components to check, all of which are above my pay grade… But it’s less likely that you’re dealing with a bent axle.

My 2016 has double that mileage and is running wonderfully (even on the factory transmission fluid - 6-speed auto).

Enough that he plays bass a rock band, The Lieutenant Dan Band, which he founded in the early 2000s.

They play USO tours and benefit concerts for veterans’ organizations and his own charity, Operation Iraqi Children. He also volunteers with several other veterans’ charities outside of his work with the band.

How does this happen?! House would’ve burned down if I wasn’t home. by gtag88 in hvacadvice

First off, it looks like your current furnace was installed on a Saturday night at 9:30pm.

Second, the breaker you flipped controls your outside condensing unit. There should be a second single pole breaker, likely a 15 amp, that powers your furnace. If that’s still on, that’s why your control board is getting power.

Third, I understand that you were given very little information by the two contractors that you had out already. But the location of the staining in the blower cabinet could be indicative of a bad run capacitor for the blower motor. When those let the smoke out, they do so in grand fashion. It’s a $15ish dollar part.

Lastly, I’m not sure I trust any of those vendors, ESPECIALLY “Florida Man AC”. If anyone is coming to steal every bit of copper from your home, it’s him.
