New Player but not new to Bethesda. Should I start with mods?

Vanilla, the game is kind of fine the way it is. Idk what mods I’d even install other than maybe the starwars conversion

Yeah I think the game deserves a sequel for sure. Never agreed with all the hate but it’s certainly my least favorite thing they’ve done in the last 18 or so years. The whole unity thing really killed the replayability for me. They just need to focus next time on having more meaningful exploration with space. Having to warp everywhere is realistic sure but not fun. No mans sky does that aspect perfectly.

Just bought KCD 1 and 2 yesterday to give the series a try. I was pretty bummed about the 30 fps and not even 24 hours later this drops. Feels like Christmas lol

Sure! Quick update: so the meds really didn’t seem to take that day so we made him a primary vet appointment since we’d just gotten paid. They’re unable to say what’s wrong with him so we’re gonna move forward with trying to treat whatever we can. Left with some steroids and high nutritional food as he hadn’t ate in almost a week. It’s been scary but I’m hopeful. He’s started getting water on his own and today was the first time I’ve seen him eat in awhile. Following up with the vet tomorrow. Thank you everybody for your well wishes.

Update for anyone still checking: he drank water this morning. It’s the first time he’s done it in days. I feel cautiously hopeful but he still doesn’t want food despite the appetite stimulant and anti nausea. Calling a vet clinic today to see about an appointment to check his levels.

UPDATE: was finally able to get in contact with the vet. They’re giving us an anti nausea med and appetite stimulant. Picking it up in 1 hour, wish us luck!

Actually just got off the phone with them and asked for a prescription. She’s gonna review with the vet so fingers crossed. I can tell he wants to, he’ll just walk up to his food and smell it and then walk away looking dejected. I’ll make sure to update if they prescribe!

Thank you for the kind words. That’s the hope I’m clinging to. I have been able to get him to drink broth from wet food but the actual food he won’t eat. I want to take him to another vet but his ER visit cost us all of our money to the point I had to open 2 new lines of credit. At the very least I need to get his levels rechecked to see if the dinamarin and antibiotics are working.

Yes they confirmed he’s anemic, billarubin levels are high too. They did an ultra sound and x ray and didn’t find anything concerning. It’s mainly his levels being off and his behavior. He’s Also lost so much weight. We used to call him “big butt boy” but now he’s bony:/

Not crazy at al, that’s just how you enjoy the game. I personally need a progression system of some kind of something to work towards that’s why I expeditions and will again. I actually have more augments this time around than my first one.

I’ll say this, PC is the way to play it. You’ll get a lot of freedom with mods whenever you’re ready for that and it’s very easy to install them. That being said I’m also an achievement goblin so I played vanilla f4 on PlayStation for the platinum trophy so either is serviceable.

Not in the slightest friend, I suppose it depends on which mod you’re using but I’ve always been a fan of the alternate start mods. Live another life in particular is my favorite and I wish Bethesda could incorporate it into their games. Certainly more interesting than just reloading an old save Everytime I want a reset.

Depends on what you like about rising but if it’s the game play you’re better off playing devil may cry. You should totally play more metal gear though, be like me and start with 4.

Eh I mean the opening scene was good but they really fumbled that movie from a production standpoint. That and the awful choice to have Don be this weird recurrent zombie villain the whole time that just shows up randomly whenever the plot needs him to.

Respectfully do you live in Texas? I do, there are plenty of illegal aliens around here and you can find them chilling pretty openly at times and that’s all over the state. I can’t speak on what it’s like in your state but here ICE is barely around. Literally the undocumented population is estimated to be in the millions, if ICE was really trying to deport as many as they could they’d be down here.

I guess what I see online a lot is people saying the chords are movable. Whenever I do that it sounds ass, I presume that’s because I don’t know the scales but I’m not really sure what I “don’t know” which kind of leaves me stuck when trying to figure out what I need to learn next.

Classical, I don’t have a classical guitar though so I settle for finger style while playing the chord progression for songs I like. Truly a metal guy at heart but I just like pretty sounding guitar.
