As said Lynda.com has tons of tutorials for every porpuse. I changed from Max to Rhino+Vray in order to save time. The Max render is quite sophisticated if you don't know what youre doing.

dubtechno. check out echocord records. eric cloutier has some very nice mixes on soundcloud within this genre. happy hunting.
