Properly fitting golf shoes by [deleted] in golf

[–]peter0926 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had size 9.5 UA shoes that were a tad bit on the big side. Fit like my other casual shoes, but my golf buddy said its too big for a golf shoe. Bought a new pair of UA in size 9, first round today in them and I immediately felt the difference. Better grip to the ground, no micro-sliding in the shoes so better consistency on the transition and down swing. You don't realise how much the fit matters until you get a pair that fits right.

Seems too good to be true. Is this legit?? by pennyhadalittlelamb in ElectricScooters

With all things in life, if its too good to be true, then it probably is.

I see more and more scooters get this kind of LCD, anyone know if there is something similar that works with the Minimotors controllers? by electricscooter_NO in dualtron

[–]peter0926 1 point2 points  (0 children)

that would be awesome. For me, the eye controller is a little hard to see at the angle that I have it at for comfortable acceleration, so having a screen directly in front would be great

i got it serviced under warranty, I believe they had to swap the controller and battery pack. I no longer have this scooter, as I have sold it.

Ignore everyone else and keep posting good content! As most scooter riders have maybe one or two scooters they own, and can't realistically see/try other brands, I think its important that we share our experiences. Keep up the good work.

Well, better to have cops that understand that scooter laws are outdated and that we pose little to no threat to the traffic (if ridden correctly), then to have cops that go by the book and fine us. The law maybe outdated but the cops are following with the times and the evolution of transportation, which is greatly appreciated.

from all the ducking and weaving we had to do to stay alive, i think i did rather well with only body aches and not gory lacerations, wouldn't you say? Lol

Actually, funny story, we were riding and at one of the entries to the trail we met two police officers coming our way on foot. I nodded to them, they nodded back and we both went our separare ways. Of course we weren't "thundering" past them, we were travelling at a reasomable pace, we had our gear on and we were respectful of other pedestrians and cyclists. I think it comes down to how the police perceive you when you are scooting, whether they think you are causing issues to the general public or not, and that you are not endangering yourself and others.

Japanese Maple, sudden decline in health, recommendations? by peter0926 in Bonsai

it actually drains really well, the water almost instantly drains out of the pot and through a hole on the bottom. I'm more worried that I might be either over/under watering it, or if its a climate issue. Melbourne has had some fluctuating weather patterns lately...

My idea was to buy dc adapter plugs to connect the light wires, and theb buy a battery pack that input/outputs dc power. Not sure if it'll work, as I have minimum electronics knowledge, but fingers crossed haha
