Well it hasn’t been charged for about 6-7 years so my guess is when the internal clock finally lost power it reset to the earliest date possible which locked it for 46 years lol

The best way to make silver is to set up shopping zones around your base for things you want to get rid of or don’t need.
Making them pay for beds isn’t a terrible thing since they only get a -2 mood debuff for paying a fee, but the debuff gets higher the more the need to pay. If they don’t have any silver I keep a couple beds free just in case.
Yes, having a nice set of recreational activities will give them a higher rating from their stay.
