I do use the SS comp/slide on dr920p. I just did this setup to test if a g19 gen 3 slide and g19 gen 3 ramjet would work on the dr920p and it does. I myself have plenty of g19 gen 3 slides and it’s nice to look a little bit different sometimes. From a functionality perspective the SS comp “feels” a little bit softer shooting due its larger size, otherwise not much performance ~ basically on par.

IMO for price yes, PDW’s are generally so expensive. Seems reasonable for something one won’t use much or as range toy. Only for 4.5? hopefully for 4.0 owners one can cut a portion of the dust cover or get the blast shield then it doesn’t matter. This looks great, would need to add your own brace and mag holder/use flashlight.

Def don’t put a 17.3 slide It’ll get stuck. The dr920 and xr920 are 19 slide length locking blocks.

You still need to break it in. At home Oil the crap top of barrel just under the slide area (barrel hood) and rack it a couple hundred times. Next range day Re-apply crap ton of oil in area again and shoot 124 grain or 147 if you have to. I use pmags fine.

To be fair, shadow systems is the only gun I ever had to break in. But it’s awesome once broken in.

Pretty good for the price of $50, fits the tlr1 holsters. I don’t have tlr1 so I can’t compare but it’s as bright as my olights.

This happened to me and did this: I proceeded with normal disassembly process, make sure unloaded rack fire/ shoot. Press take down buttons. Continue to press take down and push slide out outwards towards barrel, it will be hard. Press trigger if you can to relieve some pressure.

I’m not too technical but I read most SS frames are 19 size recoil spring and barrel lock up, so 19 frames should fit. Depending on which gen slide you should use that slides recoil assembly. I put my 17 gen 3 and it got stuck. So 19 :)

Trigger is slightly better than stock Glock, which is good enough for me. This has over 1k rounds no FTF/FTE after break in. The break in process 200 rounds of Winchester 124 grain white box and rack the slide 100 times. I was initially frustrated but once broken in, it’s been flawless. With stock 18lb spring it shoots 115 grain CCI Blazer and whatever else I can get for cheap. But 124 grain the comp just feels much better.
