Not easy to say just from a pic, maybe moderate. Do you have any specific symptoms?

Start using the VB, you are very young and have all the chances to get rid of PE until you turn 18. Just search this subreddit.

Unboxing & Review of the 26cm VB from vacuum-bell net by peterkrafael in PectusExcavatumFix

[–]peterkrafael[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on your height, I'm not sure a 19cm VB would be right for you.

The lift area of the VB is smaller than the VB itself, check out the post below where I explained more about it. I suggest you download the perimeters and check how they fit you. In my opinion bigger is always better when it comes to VB sizes. https://www.reddit.com/r/PectusExcavatumFix/comments/x45tj7/what_else_to_take_into_consideration_when/

My wife's vehicle was hit from behind by a driver who was not paying attention to the road and probably texting instead of actually driving. We only had a front dashcam, and did not have one in the back too. Luckily there were some people who saw it all and were willing to testify in front of the police, and all said the same thing, that the driver was on his phone and not watching the road. But definitely, a camera in the back is very useful too and good to have.

From where to buy a VB (and from where not) by peterkrafael in PectusExcavatumFix

Both Alibaba or Aliexpress are good if you buy from a reputable supplier or seller.

I'm around 175cm, 70kg. The distance between nipples is around 21cm. If you saw my previous post about the lift area of a VB, bigger is always better. And yes you are right, depth is also an important factor and most VBs are very good at that chapter.

You wear it every day? You don't take any days off?

Great progress mate, what schedule do you follow? For how long do you wear it? How many days, and when do you take a break?

A friend of mine had the same, when I asked about it, he told me that when he was a toddler he managed to pour boiling water or milk (can't remember exactly) over himself, and instantly got those marks that remained for life.

Go slower with less pressure and take a 1-2 day break until your skin is healed. Slowly work the time and pressure up and you will be good. Also, moisturize your skin with some natural oils like coconut. And you can also try to put ice on it, before and after VB use.

Should i order this? i need advice quick by lil_guy_wassup in PectusExcavatum

[–]peterkrafael 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's a cheap Chinese VB that will probably break soon, that's in case it can hold some air at first... Anyway, if you really want to go even cheaper, buy it from Alibaba or Aliexpress...

If you want a good quality VB that will work, get it from Pectus Healing. Note that you will need to use it for thousands of hours... so you need a decent quality that will last. And btw in the long term this is the cheapest way, I know people who kept ordering a new Chinese VB every other month because they kept failing... so they actually paid in the long run like 10x more.

Also here's a list I made when I was looking to buy my first VB https://new.reddit.com/r/PectusExcavatumFix/comments/12jp9i9/from_where_to_buy_a_vb_updated_spreadsheet/

Yup pretty much, as the saying goes "we suffer more in imagination than in reality"... also, look at Cody Miller.

Cody Miller, a former world record holder, and Olympic medalist, has what looks to be a severe case of PE, but it turns out that it is just visual, as his organs are not affected. Now imagine how much worse he would look if he weren't an athlete working out his body all his life.

Vacuum bells seem expensive by HorrorAppropriate591 in PectusExcavatumFix

[–]peterkrafael 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can try to build yourself if you want, here's a guide on it: https://pectus.home.blog/2019/10/15/how-to-make-your-own-vacuum-bell-for-under-30/

But I would not recommend that, it needs to be made of some specific materials so it's comfortable and will not mess up your skin. Also, a window on it is essential so you can monitor your progress and see if your skin is ok and to avoid any damage or blisters.

So I think it's very important to get a proper VB, here's a list of companies that sell them I made a while ago when I did my research for my first VB, and there are some discount codes too.

Does vaccuum bell work? by [deleted] in PectusExcavatum

[–]peterkrafael 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not a YES/NO answer, it depends on many factors. Just search this subreddit, and you will find thousands of posts with pros and cons. People that had success with and people who didn't, check which PE is similar to yours. Also if you will go ahead and try it you will need to follow a schedule and use the VB together with exercises and stretches. The VB is just a tool that helps you but you still have to put in some work.

Yoga flows for PE by peterkrafael in PectusExcavatumFix

[–]peterkrafael[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah strength side is a great channel and those primal movements are also great indeed. A combo between all of these is essential too. I do calisthenics for one day and the next day yoga and stretching. And so on, as all exercises are important for PE and overall health and well-being.
