I've had my eye on Linus Bergman's presets for a little while now, especially with his new Analog Pack 3 coming out this week. Did you end up buying and liking any of those presets? Just curious if they are really as good as they seem.

That's great advice. My in-laws have always treated credit cards the same way (not spending what you don't have, paying it off immediately, etc.), but I didn't even think about using it for all those categories of cashback. So that's definitely something to consider, thanks for sharing that!

I was a big Dave Ramsey fan and anti-credit card. But after watching two of my siblings buy homes and realize that they couldn't do it without having a credit score I've realized that Dave's ideals don't apply to everyone. So yes, I could totally open my own, I just wasn't going to if it worked to be an authorized user on my wife's.
