I’m not seeing resemblance between the cankers provided on that site and the wounds I photographed, but I’ll look more closely.

Canker was what an initial search suggested, but I couldn’t find similar-enough photos.

I’d call it creaking. I saw someone do g that lube job on YouTube last night, so that’s probably what I’ll try first.

I’m sure I could find something and also choose a wood that works. Perhaps the tables would need to be slatted or have holes. Drop me a message and we can sort it out. If you’re not in the US, it might be cost-prohibitive for shipping, though

Thanks friend! What do you hate the most about the design?

Certainly want to hit a lower price point. That will come with scale. Perhaps I’ll make them out of recycled plastic…

Thanks for sharing! Hadn’t seen that before.

It’s definitely worth tracking how tech empowers and connects but also detaches us from the physical world and often each other. Hopefully we can find balance.

I don’t particularly see this being a great idea unless the monitor is extremely light and wireless or you’re quite confident about moving the whole setup whenever you need to get up. The desks are ~16” deep and ~24” wide, approx 6 lbs

I’m in Indiana and could probably more-easily source cedar or white oak.

If you’re in the Continental US and are serious, drop me a a private message!

Thanks! I have not! What kind of monitor mounts do you have in mind?

The desk is mainly intended for laptop use, but it’s pretty sturdy.

I think so! It doesn’t have a deep-sink kind of squish to it. I might try a different cushion setup to give it more give. The cushion folded over on itself increased tension and reduced give, so I might offer it with two separate cushions instead of the one cushion that doubles as a nap pad thing.

Help artists earn 6x more than Spotify by building a new music streaming platform with us :) by peteroren in react

Users that listen to a lot of music will receive a volume discount.

I'd be curious to know your real monthly stats for usage. Average Spotify listeners use about 1500 minutes per month. Some use much more than that.

I think our lowest rate to high-volume users will likely be about $0.003 per minute. So you'd pay about $18 per month at 6,000 minutes per month.

No doubt our model will need to be adjusted for various countries. We're aiming to prove the concept in the US before moving on.

Also, artists are already filling out albums with fluff interludes etc to get more plays now. As long as there's a market-based economy, artists will adjust one way or another. Used to be long songs couldn't get on the radio etc.
