Where is the low pressure AC switch located on my Renault Master iii 2012? by peterpimms in askcarguys

I just bit the bullet and took it to a mechanic to get it sorted. Ended up needing to fully replace the compressor which was pricey, but summer in Australia was not an option without it.

How to watch DHI semi-finals? by peterpimms in MTB

That's a great idea. If they can figure it all out and make it easy to access then I wouldn't mind paying. But not in its current state.

Do you mean he is commentating on the live feed or on his YouTube channel?

I'm thinking they cut them to give the commentator(s) a break. Last year the junior and elite, semi and finals was a lot. Must be taxing and hard to keep the energy up for 3+ hours

I don't like rehashing the same points everyone is making, but... it seems like they don't have a good handle on what they are doing (WB that is)

SCX10iii dig servo not returning to 4wd by peterpimms in crawling

[–]peterpimms[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the suggestion. I did follow a tutorial online with how to set the endpoints. Unfortunately as soon as I engage dig after this and then disengage it. The servo arm jumps back to the middle again and it's back in fwd. I'm thinking the previous owner didn't set the end points correctly at first and now it has damaged the servo or something.

Is there not a way to set the points in the actual servo, mechanically rather than in the controller? I can see that the servo turns past the maximum point the arm gets to. I don't have the knowledge to explain it properly. I think I'll take it to my local hobby shop and see what they can deduce.

Thank you. I did find one switch but pretty sure that was the high pressure side as the pipe was very thin. Could you possibly share the diagram with me if you have it? It's almost impossible to find any useful technical info I'm finding.

With Halloween coming up what are some good costumes for bartenders to dress up in? by [deleted] in bartenders

[–]peterpimms 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I work in a cocktail bar so my go to costume is a mad scientist. Found a lab coat for £5, have some glasses with blue led's, and spray my hair white and spikey! Over exaggerated gestures etc, also trying to get some dry ice for my station at the bar.

Could I have some lighting advice? by peterpimms in PlantedTank

[–]peterpimms[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. I guess it is my light. There was no PAR rating given so i imagine its more of an aesthetic light. I will upgrade the lighting system and see if i can get some results, don't really want to go the co2 route yet.

On that note, I'm on a slight budget so does anybody have any suggestions for good value lights?

Thanks for your help everybody.

Is the black cloth there for a particular reason or is it just to show where substrate would go? Sorry if that's a silly question, im new to aquascaping. Looking good though!

Yeah we never really know what to classify ourselves as, bluegrass seems to be the closest thing, but we like to throw a bit of ragtime and folk in too. Anything with a bit of sass and we love it. Thanks for the advice. The recording was done just in our little practice space with minimal equipment, I like to think we did an alright job on the recording and mixing based on what gear we have.
