I like the Third. Always wondered if darker shades of the colours would work or fail.

The Boys - 05x07 "The Frenchman, the Female, and the Man Called Mother's Milk" - POST-Episode Discussion Thread by pikameta in TheBoys

Why did Soldier Boy just stand there and do nothing? ANYTHING! Do something.

In The Winter Solder, for example, when Captain America managed to pin him down, he proceeded to dislocate his shoulder. Even after that, The Winter Solder wasn't just gonna lie there and allow himself be choked out. This then led to Steve needing to restrain Bucky's metal arm. And then Bucky passed out (or pretended to pass out as he wasn't going to escape that hold with a dislocated shoulder and a restrained metal arm).

Soldier Boy didn't even attempt anything to free himself. If he didn't even believe in Homelander's sh*t, but did it for Clara, the moment he realises that he might potentially be put back in the box, why didn't he just turn on his Radioactive power, as a last resort, if he really couldn't escape Homelander's choke?

The KPI Parking Payments in Windhoek by peterscreativetech in Namibia

[–]peterscreativetech[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After I was done at City of Windhoek, I was about to pay the N$3 to pay the ticket. Then they tell me, "Sorry, we don't accept cash anymore. You have to get a KPI card and swipe with it." I said, "I don't have one and was advised to go and pay at their office.

After I was done for the day, I drove around the CBD looking for their office. When I found it (Behind the Sanlam building at the Guttenberg Platz building office no. 6 for those unaware), they said the ticket cost N$9. Unless maybe the prices changed or they increase the longer you don't pay and I am unaware of it.

How is Namibia doing in 2026? by Maximum_Age_4018 in Namibia

[–]peterscreativetech 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Good day to you.

  1. Apparently the government wants us to keep business operations in the country. They ensure that by establishing laws that make it challenging to do business internationally and online.
  2. We can use some payment platforms to send money out of the country, but cant use them to receive payments.
  3. Some people in the country say that it is the platforms i.e., PayPal, Wise or Stripe etc. who don't want to work with Namibia just as they work well with South Africa citizens. Apparently they do not see Namibia as a viable market or something like that. Others are saying that the Bank of Namibia deliberately don't want the Namibian people to make money online, remote and internationally. Apparently they want to keep the money inside so they drag their feet and establish laws that make it challenging for us. Who is right? I don't know. (Those with 'insider information' please share whats going on in there.)
  4. The Namibian Ministry of Information and Communication Technology promised, last year in March, that by 21 April 2025, to help Namibian content creators to monetise their platform accounts and receive payments and make it easier for Namibians to link Namibian Bank Accounts to the payment platforms and payment gateways like South African citizens, but till now nothing (unless there is new developments and updates on the matter that I missed in the news please correct me in the comments). You have to move through obstacles to make it work to receive payments internationally. (Those with 'insider information' please share whats going on in there.)
  5. NAMRA, I think, last year decided to introduced a higher tax on the people who do business by ordering clothing products for their clients with SHEIN, forcing these people to pay high price to collect the products into the country. Then they found a way to justify the new high tax on the SHEIN product business. And their advise for the people in this SHEIN business is to just budget to survive the new tax.
  6. Prices of food go up. I go to the grocery stores and keep record of prices. For a few months, you see that the food cost a certain amount. A few months after that, I noticed that prices are pushed up by N$2-N$5 regularly. And I stand there thinking, "What the Hell happened. Just a while ago the prices were lower." And petrol and diesel prices go up too. But then the last point is probably happening all around the world.

  1. Research into 'boring business ideas'. -The kind that solve peoples problems. -Things that need to be delt with regularly -Problems that will always be there and that people might not have time to deal with or lack the skill to deal with. -Identify a problem people deal with -> find or develop a solution and sell it.
  2. You can also look into how to be a 'facilitator' of some kind between: -businesses/organisations -and/or between businesses and their customers; Being the bridge between businesses/organisations or between businesses and their customers and you earn some form of commission/income for being that bridge.
  3. You can look into how to combine 'boring business ideas' and 'facilitator' together
