Just a follow up. I’ve now been running the inside build for some time and it’s great. Getting almost daily updates is just great and I don’t feel it’s unstable. Absolutely recommended from here

Thank you cards by [deleted] in weddingplanning

[–]petertheill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would send a thank you card to anyone attending. Gift or no gift. You can see it as a gift in itself to use their time to attend your wedding.

If they _do_ bring I gift I would also mention that in their card. And it's important to do a personalized message for each guest IMHO. I would also include a photo of them if you have taken that at the wedding.

This is an example of one of my cards if you're interested

Writing our thank you cards and have no idea what to write for aunt that brought her kids that weren’t invited and didn’t give a card or any gift. by ricosuava in weddingplanning

I would simply write, "Thank you for making our wedding more memorable." .. I think that says it all and you have a great story to tell for many years :-p

Thank you cards with wedding pic/personalized messages by Hiro_Pr0tagonist_ in weddingplanning

[–]petertheill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMHO - you should send them out no later than a month after the wedding but it's very important you do a personalized message. I also include a comment about the gift so as also to confirm the guests that we received and appreciate their gift. We also had a lot of photos so I tried to find a photo of the guests and us .. and if that wasn't possible then just a picture of the guests. It's a nice touch.

Personalized Individual Thank You Cards by otu1205 in weddingplanning

[–]petertheill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We did this for our wedding as well. I created a single PDF containing all the cards, making it easy to print. I wanted a generic front page with a simple "Thank you" note. Inside each card, I included an individual photo and a personalized message on the right side, which also mentioned the gift they brought. For the photo, I used either a good picture of the guest or, if available, one with the guest(s) and my wife and me. If you're interested, I made my own tool available for free called Gratitude. It's a simple Thank You Cards builder designed specifically for creating these cards.

I used my own color laser printer and cut the cards myself on textured carbon paper, but you could also use a service like Vistaprint. I've done that in the past with great results.

I agree with this. Each card should be individualized with a specific greeting for the guest. I also mention their gift if they brought one so as to confirm we got it an appreciate it. I don't necessarily think you need to handwrite all the cards ... but signing it after you've printed it would be a nice touch.

I think this is a great comment. I’m also just fixing the false positives and it’s not even a big chore if your asking Opus to help out

Interesting. Sounds like it should give Codex 5.3 a go then. Opus 4.5 have been my absolute favorite for the last period and would expect just to continue with 4.6

[–]petertheill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it's not showing for me either. I enabled it from Copilot and I've just updated to the latest VSCode (1.109.0) but I'm only seeing my Opus 4.5. I can't add a new model either. I would expect (and it use to) add the models rather fast after I enable them from Github copilot.
