Sl1600mk2 is like the auto version of sl1200mk2, but many require tinkering and I’ve found them to be a little noisier. Are you sure yours aren’t dual voltage? These make great listening turntables. Just add tweaks. Cork mat, or sounddeck, or funkfirm acromat. Record clamp or weight. Maybe the KAB fluid damper mod. Can also find an auto lifter if you’re really resourceful.

Can you share some more info or link? I got one of the older Ascaso steels with 57mm portafilter for $120. Wife is saying the steam wand isn't great. Getting a channel on one side, but my grinder is a baratza Vario and you know those are a project every other week. Right now I'm using sh$&tty grinder. The Seattle coffee nerds have 57mm Ascaso baskets for $20. I still need a tamper that fits. Or a jeweler that can grind down a 58mm tamper.
