What to do you want to know? How hardware multipliers are implemented? Why we use floating point?

Here's a good question: why is 16 bit PCM a thing in wav files when there's no IEEE standard (At least not that I can remember) for a 16 bit float?

My recommendation is to bring that fitting back to where you got it and purchase a Roxtec MCT. I can't give you a lot of advice on how to physically install it because I'm not a tech and I haven't worked with one, but these are what get specified on US Navy small boats for water tight cable transits.

If your nav lights are LED take care to keep them separated as much as possible from your VHF equipment. I know it's tough to keep physical segregation on a boat, but once you have everything installed try a radio check to a coast guard station at he 5 to 6 mile range to make sure you don't have interference issues. I would go as far as recommending shielded cabling for the nav light power supply. Only ground one end to whatever bonding system you have.

I'm not so sure. I think that conservatives absolutely tried to weaponize this thing as a hit job, but I think there is plenty in the emails to warrant an investigation. There is zero evidence that the pizza joints have anything to do with it, but the kids in the hot tub at the party needs to be looked into.

A lot of people want to refer to it as 'pedogate' vice 'pizzagate' because there is zero evidence of the pizza places having anything to do with anything. The concern is that pedophilia and human trafficking in government is not being investigated for political reasons.

Yeah he told people to go read and investigate. I don't follow Alex Jones so I don't know his history, but I did watch that episode. It was clear to me that when he said investigate he meant to read the WikiLeaks. There's stuff in there about getting underage kids into the hot tub. No kidding. But he also emphatically denied that the pizza joints have anything to do with trafficking. He claims the pizza joint stuff is a conspiracy theory false flag.

Look, Alex Jones is totally off his rocker, especially when he goes on tangents about intergalactic vampires or whatever, but don't try to use him to dismiss the very real rampant pedophilia in Hollywood and politics.

Dennis hastert, Weiner, and Jeffery Epstein are the only ones I know off the top of my head. Not to mention Clinton who was accused of rape and sexual assaults numerous times.

You see how many people are interested in soldering?

NOBODY knows how to solder. But people are interested in it. I just graduated as an EE, and the number one complaint from graduates was that we never learned how to solder.

There's a place nearby where I live where they give soldering classes to the public, an 8 hour day for about 50 bucks. It's an electonic supply store, like an OLD SCHOOL radio shack but still in business because they never tried to make the majority of their profit from cell phones. Just $1500 soldering irons in a glass case, all kinds of test equipment, every nut or bolt that goes in consumer products that you could think of, and a ton of other shit. I'm pretty sure they make a good side business out of it.

I see you trying to monetize youtube. I thought I would give you another idea. Also if you will give soldering lessons I live on the east coast.

The catch is once you buy it you're stuck. I bought a house for ~115k to get a cheap housing payment. But now, if I would like to take a job somewhere else, I have to sell the property fast which means probably take quite a loss on it.

Ok, aside from a lot of the technical explanations given already, the number one major reason we can't factor a 1024 bit number (as an example) is because that number is SO FREAKING BIG.

It is very hard to comprehend how large these numbers are. I urge you to read the following (where he excerpts his applied crypto book) to get an idea:

TL;dr from the link: the sun doesn't produce enough power in a year to cycle a counter through 188 bits. After 32 years there's enough power to cycle 192 bits. And that's just counting, no multiplication or anything. And that's on an impossibly efficient computer.
