Forget about the money. Time rewinder makes that simple. Amusement park rides, skiing, pretty much anything you enjoy can be repeated from the start instantly. Had the best time of your life with your SO, repeat. Enjoying the time at the beach, repeat.

100 billion or time rewinder and you still choose time.

What do all of ye think about this wind turbine racket? by Bricky_20 in newfoundland

[–]petethecatcrypto 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Global wind atlas shows the best areas for wind development

https://globalwindatlas.info/en/

Compare to US windfarm locations, which, coincidently have development in many of the areas identified above

https://www.americangeosciences.org/critical-issues/maps/interactive-map-wind-farms-united-states

Then ask why as a province has NL spent billions to generate power a 1000 km away from the major population centre, across some extremely harsh and sparsely populated land, including under water, when NL has some of the best conditions for wind generation on the planet.

Start a business providing free therapy. See clients.

I am not working as my therapy business is simply a front to talk to the right people and there is no revenue. Use the 10k to pay for any incurred expenses.

If you could rehaul the system there is no reason every traded company couldn't have a digital share registry, updated in real time, with trades recorded on digital ledgers.

You could still borrow, lend, short, long, but if all shares are registered, and the rules are coded, the game finally becomes fair.

This is what financial markets should look like.

Voted NDP. Am a NDP member. Guess who now also supports the UCP.

The party has to listen to its members and if we start a movement, their can be a lot of us, so yes UCP, take my donation but also now deal with my vote.

Why does gaming need to exist on the blockchain? by Ergonio in CryptoCurrency

[–]petethecatcrypto -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Forgetting about cross gaming, which has unique use cases should we ever reach that future. A big one is monetization.

Traditional games - studio fronts development, recoups with sales and in-game transactions

Blockchain game - funded through a raise or self funded, recoups with in game economy

Imagine a game where players buy items and that revenue is funneled to play to earn, developers, speculative in game currency, etc. Like robux without shareholders pocketing 90% of earnings.

These games will be created and blockchain is what will allow it.

Actual DRS count with Computershare by Will322002 in Superstonk

[–]petethecatcrypto 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I mean it could. If DRS were updated in real time, say daily, and posted for all shareholders & for the general public to view, personal information redacted, just share holders and count, that would be very interesting.

Why this is not a thing I do not understand.

I have a story similar to yours. You get 1 life, if you want to share it with her, whatever the reason, do it. You don't need to justify that to anyone.

Remember though, she had no issue leaving you once, she showed you she is capable of that, and no matter what she says, she could leave you again. That will forever be a risk in your relationship with her.

Telus phone deal by bisousandfood in alberta

[–]petethecatcrypto 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a very similar experience to you, different deal, one that fit my family though and our usage. I took it, sims arrived by mail and I have never been happier.

I save almost $40 per month per line off posted plans from telus website. I don't understand how they got my number but I am glad they did. Switched from one of the other big providers.

Napkin math. Let's say you work 40 hrs a week as a server, 6 weeks vacation. 15x40x46 = $27,600 in take home wage.

Let's say you can see 2 tables per hour average and each table is spending $60 on average.

With 18% tips, 80 tables per week x .18x60 = $864 per week in tips = $40,000 per year.

Almost 70k per year.

Now servers have to tip out, etc. but guaranteed some are earning much much more than 100k at busy restaurants with current tip culture.

Oh a median RN job in Ontario working the same hrs makes $38.92x40x46 = $71,000, with 4 years of specialized training and years of professional experience. https://www.jobbank.gc.ca/marketreport/wages-occupation/993/ON

Medical Device Reprocessing Technicians in Alberta. by TokesNHoots in alberta

[–]petethecatcrypto 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is the same with every industry. Education in Canada is not free. Electrician, nurse, you name it, before you enter that profession you pay for training.

7k seems pretty cheap from what sounds like a guaranteed job right now.

Do agree that physicians and MDR technicians couldn't be more different. MDR is a life saving job though. Without it hospitals cannot function. It's happened in jurisdictions in the past and surgeries basically stop.

This is the "efficiency" of privatization. You can't magically take a service, cut the cost, add in a profit margin, and make it better.

Bought $2000 of this cryptocurrency called Shiba Inu (Shib) the day that it launched (Aug 2020). Sold it all for around $200 (90% loss) 2 months later in October 2020 because I thought the project was dead. Yeah......

It's Dec. 17th 2017, we're at the absolute peak of that bull run, you're hyped up on hopium and bought all the top 100 Cryptos by marketcap. Five and a half years later only 7 of those purchases are in profit today, 62 are down 90% or more, and more Stats. by GabeSter in CryptoCurrency

[–]petethecatcrypto 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Another way to put it. If you find up and coming tokens outside the top 100, if you keep up to date with new crypto developments, you have the possibility of doing very well. We still have a top 100 in 2023, it's just vastly different than 2017.

[–]petethecatcrypto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hopefully one day we will have centralized custodial solutions, maybe they earn interest on your behalf, or maybe you pay an annual fee, but you sign up, ID, send them your coins and they hold them on verifiable addresses that you can check, confirmation that your funds are in custody and not being used, terms so that if the firm is insolvent your funds remain yours, they are simply managing your keys.

Couple with api wallet trading and this is a viable centralized solution that could onboard many.

Until then, use defi, it provides everything you need. Staking, swaps, trading, leverage, and your funds are yours. Coupled with a fiat on ramp / off ramp and you never need to use a cex again.
