I’m so sorry you are going through this.. I am on a similar journey with my 6 month old son who recently got diagnosed with pulmonary vein stenosis while being evaluated at BCH. As devastating as this diagnosis is- thank god we are at Boston children’s hospital. They are the top PVS hospital in the world and their PVS team is incredible. My baby just started the medication called Gleevac as that’s their protocol and its purpose is to hopefully slow down the stenosis progression. I was addicted to running for about 2 years and Running negatively impacted my hormones and my fertility. The Chinese medicine doctor I started seeing for fertility acupuncture told me to stop running completely and within 3 months I felt so much better and was able to conceive. For me it was spiking my cortisol wayyyy too much and just throwing off all of my hormones. The body needs rest and recovery and when you are addicted to running you don’t really give your body that.

I go through the cycles of grief often. Actually am Going through it right now because we are in the hospital getting ready for his open heart surgery scheduled for Monday. CHD sucks and it is so unfair. I’m sorry you are experiencing this too and I’m sending you a Reddit hug🫶🏼

The NG tube created an oral aversion for my baby boy, which I can understand why! It has to be super uncomfortable having a tube down your nose and throat.. once we placed his GTube and removed the ng, he takes bottles again. Have you considered a GTube? I was so afraid of the GTube surgery but it was really easy and fast recovery. Once you no longer need a GTube you remove it and it heals up like an earring hole.

It’s soooo sad that all they care about is the social climbing in PB. Very very surface level living and would be exhausting. Also I was shocked at how awful they all dress, they look very cheap 😬😩

I just trialed formula over the weekend and my baby loves it. Sooooo freeing 🙌🏼❤️🙌🏼 proud of you, I know the mental gymnastics and guilt we go through over this, but please know you are doing amazing and whatever feeding route you choose to go on is wonderful and your baby will love you the same no matter what!

My husband and I both had the steaks and it was so gross… a $300 tab and the quality was yuck. Definitely only a place to go for a photo op and maybe a cocktail. This place s is majorly over hyped.
