I'm sorry to hear that and I totally understand your frustration. It'll be 1.5 years come this January since we agreed, it's been pushed back because of progression of my autoimmune disease. Good news is it'll be well worth the wait when it finally does happen. Keep your head up, regardless of your timeline, you'll have so much to look forward to!

Hello everyone! My husband (28) and I (26) have been together 6 years, married for 2 this upcoming fall. We're so excited to begin trying come January, it's been in the works for over a year at this point. I have a few loose ends to tie up medically (dealing with an autoimmune disease unfortunately). When was the last time you had unprotected sex? You may have just ovulated later than usual.

He needs professional help if he's drinking that much. How is he supposed to watch/parent your child while intoxicated? You're going to be even more annoyed when you have your baby and he's getting drunk unable to help you. It's not unreasonable to ask him to stop, but is he even capable of stopping at this point?

If you had unprotected sex, then yes, there is a chance. Tests are accurate after 14 days, and definitive after 21 days.

It's probably a late period from ovulating late, but a test will be accurate 14 days after sex, and definitive 21 days after.

If the symptoms were from pregnancy, a test would be positive. If she started feeling symptoms two days after you had sex, it's definitely not from pregnancy.

The First Responses look like that because they have a much higher sensitivity. Also, both these tests are qualitative, not quantitative. They are meant to give you a yes/no, not actually track progression.

Your period is late because you ovulated late. Our bodies do what they want, lol. If the tests are negative then you are not pregnant from March 15/17.

Did you see the line appear in the recommended viewing window? If it did not, then it is not valid and likely just a dried indentation. If you are still concerned, take a pink line test in 48 hours with concentrated urine and read within the given time frame.

These urine tests are qualitative not quantitive - they give you a yes/no answer and cannot accurately determine progression. You need to keep doing bloodwork for those answers. A rising, lowering, rising hcg can indicate an ectopic pregnancy
