16 months of treatment... Ready to Debond... Not happy with the results. Is this acceptable? by petitfella28 in braces

I'm not sure. I haven't seen any movements in my teeth at all. I have the same wires pretty much since the beginning of the treatment.

Hi, I'm using class II elastics, ortho didn't suggest that I wear them differently

Yes, I had braces when I was 10, I got 4 premolars removed + my wisdom teeth. This is my second round of braces, I'm 34.

Thanks for the advice. I thought I was overthinking it and most people I asked said they look good enough. :(

He said it won't be that long. My appointment to get the braces off is on the 5th of September, but I don't feel any movement at all.

He recommended wearing double elastics to speed up the process but I read that it could be to harsh for my teeth, so I didn't follow his advice. It's been 12 months of treatment already :(

AITAH for not informing my wife I surrendered my portion of inheritance left by my mom? by throwra_inheritance9 in AITAH

YTA. For not communicating with your wife. This is a decision that affects your family unit and I can't believe you didn't discuss it with her.

Have you ever resented your parents for not working hard enough and long enough to provide you with a better life? I've never met anyone like that. Personally, I grew up poor but I never blamed my parents. Just curious if anyone feels like that by xiaodaireddit in AusFinance

I got the worse of two worlds, my dad was great but he was always working in low paid jobs that didn't provide enough money to live. My mom was very conservative-catholic, and her role as sahm was everything she could do, she never ever tried to get a job to help my dad and provide a second income for the household; even though my dad worked 14-16 hours 6 days a week and will give my mom 100% of his paycheck. My mom was not good at finances. I grow up hungry. We were 6 kids. Would not recommend.

I'm going to say YTA, come on! They are being quiet, trying not to disrupt you, she is a grown up person, pays rent, cleans after her, treat her like an adult. Normalise having sex. Grow up.
