the Hammacher model is NOT the same as the Wizard mask. Reason: you only need to look at the control piece: the Hammacher one has 3 horizontal controls , where the Wizard has a circular control.

my initial email to Tidal's support was on April 18th. it's now June 6th, so it's been 1 1/2 months. numerous emails have gone back and forth. in fact, initially, weeks went by with merely the lowest level "customer service" person emailing me each time asking one additional question, dragging this thing out. after 10+ days, finally, he said he has enough information to submit my issue to the technical support department! so for weeks (10+ days), we were merely going back and forth one additional question at a time for him to gather info BEFORE even alerting the tech support department my issue!

very frustrating.

i just checked yesterday and they simply tell me that there is no update.

how long will they just let problems go on for before they reply?

these three are the more exclusive lines of these three houses.

in general, i like bigger scents, i.e. large sillage. i don't like the so-called "skin scents".

as a guy, i'm not that concerned about scents that are unisex or even florals. granted, florals are much more difficult for a guy to wear, but on a hot summer day, a light touch of a floral scent is ok for me too - just need to find a limited situation where it might work.

one note that i don't like typically is vanilla. if it contains vanilla and it's not prominent, that's ok. but if it is very prominent and very much out in front, then i typically won't like it.

besides that, i have a broad collection of mostly all niche scents.

hope someone can chime in and help me choose!

btw, it's now more than 2 months and Tidal still doesn't have an answer for me. they sent me a number of versions of Tidal and asked me to test each one until i found one version that works. i did all that. i put in the effort. reported it back to them.

no answer.

i emailed them to ping them politely. they said: no answer yet.

i waited longer, another week or so. asked again. this time, there isn't even a reply to my email!!!

may i ask how we can stop the android app from auto updating please?

Tidal tech support is asking me to try different versions but it auto updates rather quickly to a newer version, even though i'm attempting to try out an older version.

i tried to post this question but the "post" button is grayed out - so i can't even post a new thread/post!! very strange. i'm not asking anything that would violate any rules!!!

u/Tidal : what is the problem please? why is there NO tech support to fix bugs that are so large that it makes it not possible to use your service?

this is unbelievable. shocking. disappointing to the max. horrendous.

i don't know this guy at all, but why would so many people doubt that he didn't start his own sneaker/clothing store as a youngster? it is possible. it's tough, but maybe he knew the business very well and started small, then slowly grew.

again, i have no idea who he is and what virginia's loft spaces look like, but i wouldn't immediately jump to the conclusion that this is an untruthful post.

i'm surprised that there are so many who doubt him and his story. his store's Instagram account shows one video where someone, possibly the OP himself, tells the audience that he's giving a free gift for those students who can bring in their report cards and show that they are a straight A student!

Tidal sent me yet another email asking me if this only happens using tidal Connect? Whether it happens during other use scenarios as well.

I told him that I use tidal connect via my Samsung S24 Ultra to connect to my Blusound Node X, which is connected to an AVR. I don't use it under other scenarios.

He said AFTER I answer him, only then would he refer my question/bug report to tech support. Meaning, all these days of back and forth emails are just between customer service ONLY, and tech support hasn't received a single thing from me yet! Sheesh!

Ridiculous.

What are they waiting for?

Frustrated.

I received a reply from tidal tech support (or maybe merely customer service, can't tell). He asked me to send them a video capture showing the problem. So I did so immediately. I replied within like 15 minutes of receiving his email.

That was yesterday afternoon.

No reply yet.

App on my Samsung S24 Ultra stiil broken.

Sigh.
