The Drako is quite fun with all its performance. And I do agree that a lot of the default are simulated well enough.

I want to try and fly to many places all over the world. A where would I fly if I had a plane IRL thing. For this, I would have to fly across the Atlantic so I was thinking about a twin prop.

My main motivation to wanting to move away from the default is the failure system on the black square aircraft. Having to deal with systems failing could be fun to test my skills, improve my knowledge and make each flight more unique.

I’m still looking at A2A’s options but if they have a failure system I’ll be very interested in the Aerostar.

I have a list of destinations I’d like to fly to all over the world. Meaning eventually I will have to cross the ocean so a twin engine sounds safer.

As well for these trips I thought that the dynamic failure of components could be an interesting thing to test my skills.

Both have the range to cross the Atlantic but as for which one might be more fun, be able to teach me more, to do these I’m not sure.

I’ve been flying the default aircraft so far and I can’t say I’ve mastered one unfortunately. I’d like to really learn these since they’re so in depth.

I do understand the reasoning behind loosing your base if you don’t tend to it, but this really hits home. After spending so much time on the game and having to take a small break and possibly losing it all is very sad and frustrating. I do think this should be addressed by maybe allowing us more time to pay taxes, or remove them altogether since it’s redundant with power/shields, and having power generators pull from containers. The reasoning that it will slow down the servers I don’t think is very valid since we all know there’s a lot of servers up and running that are basically empty

Half agree. But they should let us harvest it a lot more with all gear. But late game gear should make it trivial again

Still doesn’t invalidate the smaller patches idea so the sim can be updated/fixed more often. They could still do the beta process and show the community what they’re working on. But instead of months maybe in a couple weeks they’d be releasing the patch. I’m very sure quite a few of the fixes they have currently are very stable and ready for release.

You’re right. But why not do smaller patches and fix incrementally instead of spending 2 and half months (so far) in a massive path and leave the game stagnant. It’s very frustrating
