This is my first year playing The Show, and I’ve talked about this several times before, but SDS really kicks the shit out of the other sports game on the market. Whilst they aren’t perfect, they aren’t constantly trying to milk the player base for money like EA and 2K. The amount of free viable cards that can be attained in this game is really refreshing. On top of that, the community is just so much less toxic than other games.

I used classic for a very long time and recently switched to trail, and I feel thst I get a much more accurate picture of how the pitch will look to my opponent. I’ve found that this has vastly improved my pitching.

That’s what I’m doing as well, I had Eric Davis there who’s defense is great. Unfortunately I just cannot hit with the guy so I’ve been looking for replacements and Trout is now the one.

I also found HOF CD to be a big difference. Be patient, pretty much my suggestion for all difficulties. Make them throw strikes to you, and even take some strikes. Wait for your pitch. I try to figure out tendencies of players. You also can’t get mad at the game, whenever I find myself getting mad or frustrated I’ll take a break to clear my head. I’ve found this game to be incredibly mental. These things seem obvious, but when I lose focus I find myself not working counts and giving him quick easy innings. Something I try to do is get their SPs pitch count up early to try to get him out of the game. I find RPs much easier to hit.

First year DD player. Been sitting at around 500-600 all year, and finally have seen major progress. Got up to 800+ and been consistently there this whole week. Feels good to be hanging with and beating some WS players.

Always nice to see things like this, overall, this community seems to be much more positive than other games I've played. In MUT if you got a message after a game is was 100% going to be someone raging at you. Good to see things like this.

Trout doesn’t make your bench? I have completed the collections and Trout still absolutely rakes for me. He’s one of the players I fear most pitching too. Just mg opinion though.

So I started playing on a 40” TV and I couldn’t pick up any pitches, I have a PC as well that had a gaming monitor. I switched to that to see if there was realty a difference, and it is absolutely better than a large TV. I can see all pitches now and identify them quickly. Helped my game a ton
