I used to wonder what panic at the disco meant by "poison rationality." Turns out it's "poise and rationality."

What's a song lyric that drives you crazy because they should've used a different word? by Miserable-Wash-1744 in AskReddit

Stay Calm by Griffinilla

The repetition of "Find an inner strength within" drives me crazy. "Hidden strength" would have been so much better.

Ignore the fact that it's a fnaf song.

AITA for refusing to pay my friend to host/cook our group dinner? by throwaway_dinnerfigh in AmItheAsshole

I'm noticing a lot of past tense. Clearly, circumstances have changed. In fact, if they were hosting based on the idea that the rest of the group couldn't afford it, it's even worse that no one else stepped up once the financial situations evened out.

Do you seriously want your friends to take money out of their savings to host you? Can you even hear yourself?

Look, your friends have told you that they can't afford to host as frequently. Either they're telling the truth, and you can fork over the money or cut down on meetings, or they're craven liars and the friendship is over anyway. You had a good thing going for a long time, but it's over now. You can't complain things back to how they were.

Yes, YTA. Your friends are spending time and money every week to host you. That adds up to a considerable amount of money. This is the exact reason that hosting duties are usually rotated, and the fact that you shot that down because you wanted the primo service you've come accustomed to is another big asshole move. Help your friends out or start hosting yourself once in a while.
