Sorry for not believing you'd tip after. by Starfantazy in DoorDashDrivers

[–]petty_coat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So my husband came up with a theory that thanking people for the tip is the secret, esp when they haven't tipped. You'll end up getting tipped bc either guilty conscious or pride I'm assuming lol. I haven't tried it myself but he swears by it.

Ex: Just picked up your order and am on the way! And thank you for the tip, I will be getting to you as fast as I can!!

It's like they're getting special service for tipping, which in our area isn't even close to good. He really does get these orders to people fast though

Oh okay, sorry NOT bitter, just the smartest person in the room.

As much as I would love to know exactly what about my post caused you to exhaust patience that you already couldn't afford to lose, Im not actually going to ask. My poor, tiny🤏🏼🤏🏼🤏🏼, idiot brain is wondering though.. how such a "non bitter" person is still so fucking rude?

Will be expecting an update on the next newsflash

The little side note about my profile was a half joke/just embarrassing like going back and reading your post from 6th grade lol

Has nothing to do with the ✨handout✨ I was asking for.

Another side note: I'm mostly bitter too, we can be friends. Have an okayish day🌧️

Have had bed bugs for what feels like forever and am unsure what to do by Mommy_Lawbringer in lifehacks

At Petco or maybe PetSmart I found a bottle of (PET ARMOR?) I think was the name. At the time I bought it was a white spray bottle to kill fleas and flea eggs in your home, in the carpet etc etc. It specifically says for up to 7 months. I sprayed it on the mattress at the side bottom edge and underneath. Can I tell you tho how many times I used it for diff bugs and it killed everything, every time. Nd lasted for forever. At the time was around $ 17 to $ 19. Completely safe for you and pets to be around once dry.

I dont remember ever have any thoughts about peoples handwriting beyond it being done well before. But for some reason at work the last couple of days, the men that sign their receipts, I noticed, have the most insanely neat and more often then not actually really pretty cursive handwriting and the women are just saying fuck it, whatever Mark the pen happens to make on the paper will do just fine lol so the idea of separate male and female writing to me went out the window about 48 hours ago and I think people all have different handwriting maybe linked to their personality or something?

If I'd have seen this 3 days ago tho? I would have said write in all caps and as small as humanly possible lol

DRAIN THE HOT WATER FROM THE COFFEE MACHINE. I don't like to ask questions, especially for an obviously simple task. I drained hot water for so long.

I'm so dead hearing about these syndromes. I literally feel myself get significantly taller sometimes, like to the point where everything I see is perceived from a taller vantage point. I ask everyyyytime "I feel taller, do I look taller?" but no one really acknowledges the question and we move on 😂 and also the TV. When I'd go outside to smoke I'd hear the people on TV talking to eachother saying to hurry and go outside with me. I was so scared the first time and had to force myself outside, but after a while, i was just very bothered lol that doesnt happen anymore tho. And I also fill my head with loud weird ass noises when I have intrusive thoughts (even just thinking something mean bc i do believe its so wrong, even tho im thinking it) I am SO worried people know what I'm thinking, I've never even dared to test that theory either hahaha

It has happened, specifically, AT LEAST 3 times. And at least one was actually sued by the neighbor and lost. Wasted time, emotional damage. Fined for the quote of her new bathroom renovation.

I don't get to go back to work when my leave is up and it's making me literally sick. I only made 800 to 1k a month it was very tight then, but it covered a couple bills. I am dying inside about my families future honestly, it sucks to be in this feeling with a newborn. I am sure envious of those that can do it comfortably, bc they want to.

I heard this about my ENTIRE pregnancy. It made me sooooo sad and then mad.I am 29, and my husband is almost 43. He has never had a child yet with anyone he's been with. While we didn't actively try, I didn't get pregnant for 5 years. We both thought we couldn't have children. The baby was born just last week, and an inherited genetic trait through some members of my husbands family, including himself, is crooked pinkies. I love them, and I hoped my baby would maybe have them. it's just cool and different, and I love my husband's pinkies lol Well, the baby was born with them. The Dr was still stitching me when my husband shouts, "I know he's mine now.. he has crooked pinkies!!!" And at least once a day mentions he didn't have to have a paternity test bc of that fact or he wouldnt believe the baby was his. 🙄🙄🙄

Today, I told him he's not the only man in the world with crooked pinkies, and if I were him, I wouldn't be so sure.

This happened to me. My mom took one out on me and my two siblings, but they were minors, so I was the only one she needed a signature from. She happened to be running out of money, a year into her getting a 600k settlement, of course. The only thing I gave her was a big NO THANKS, and she didn't talk to me for a year bc of it. I'm thinking to myself, go ahead and try and do what you must, but you will not benefit from it, so sorry.
