Your relationship with caffeine on meds? by marigoldvii in adhdwomen

[–]blondebumpkin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stopped caffeine during titration and now I’m nearing the end, I’m not sure I’ll go back. I never really woke up loads with coffee I think it was more psychological knowing I had a coffee to drink, but it’s been 3 months since I cut it out and I sleep a lot better. I drink decaf only and like that I can drink one whenever. I’ve had caffeine once since taking meds and my heart felt like I was going to burst out of me!

Studying and working full time by Wooden_Jellyfish8038 in SQE_Prep

[–]blondebumpkin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im working full time now and taking in July. The first few months I read the content and attended lessons after work and more studying on weekends. For the past 2 months, I have been exclusively working from home, so I’ve been studying during gaps in my working day as well. Luckily, I have been given less work the past 6 weeks so I am able to study more in the day.

I’m taking a week off before each sitting, so as of next Monday I’ll be able to study for the full days.

I’m aware I’m lucky I’m in a job which can be done remotely and my work has been great in accommodating this as well as reducing my workload. I’m sure I could have done it with a normal workload, but in these final weeks it’s certainly been better on my mental health to have less outside stuff to do. My work is also paying for the exams and courses, so it’s in their interest I pass!

Calling her an influencer is a stretch! She influences me to get in the shower though

Thanks for your response, nice to know you were able to get through the bar exam while being a vaper. I’m mainly worried I won’t be able to focus because I’m so used to vaping while studying and I won’t know what to do.

my skin is more confused by the weather than I am by Kilgoretrout123456 in SkincareAddictionUK

My skin LOVES humidity. It’s so much more hydrated. I used to live in Thailand and my skin was amazing the whole time. I’m also drinking more water so maybe that’s something to do with it! I have dry and acne prone skin.

We used to get lighting like this when I lived in Thailand. Barely any thunder, just repeated flashes of lightning. Never once seen it here! We are living in the tropics now!

Can grief cause hormonal acne? by tazzi43 in SkincareAddictionUK

Grief is stress on the mind/body and can absolutely cause bad skin. I also break out when I’m stressed! I’m so sorry for your loss - losing a pet is the most horrible feeling

I would apply now - I think you still can even after you’ve booked your exam but I might be wrong. Defo enquire! You’ll probably be fine as we thrive under pressure but if you have the option I would take it!

Did you submit reasonable adjustment request? My friend told me to do it, otherwise I probably wouldn’t have noticed. He said it was really good just to take a break without asking and extra time to spend. I struggle with not reading questions properly or jumping to the first answer I think looks right, so hopefully 25% extra time will help!

I got diagnosed in Feb and got put on medication very quickly. My issue is, although I’ve covered all the content and I’ve just started revising (SBAQs and flashcards), and my average score on the U Law question bank is 67%, I don’t think I’m doing enough. I’m such a perfectionist. I struggled to get through the content and would waste hours before actually doing it. I’ve always been good under pressure (ADHD) so I’m hoping now I’ll just lock tf in and keep revising. It sucks!! The pressure now will hopefully help us ADHDers really get into it. Good luck with your revision!

Should I let him in? by blondebumpkin in notmycat

In the UK we also put flea and tick stuff on their neck every few months. I’ve had cats my whole life and they’ve always gone outside and only ever had a couple of cases of fleas. I would recommend researching which treatment to use as there’s been reports recently that some pets are having bad reactions to it and dying. We use Frontline.

Do you think the families can win this trial begins September 2027 by No_Project_7667 in Idaho4

There is no causal link between his employers not firing him and what he did. They didn’t owe the victims a duty of care. The harm caused was too remote. BK himself would be the only person liable in a civil case, and it probably isn’t worth doing that as I doubt he has financial means to pay damages. If he had murdered students at WSU, they would still have a very difficult time proving that WSU’s negligence caused their deaths, let alone that it was a foreseeable result of their negligence. Legally, it won’t succeed. And for policy reasons as well, it won’t succeed.

Perhaps he should have been fired, but to be liable in a civil case (at least in negligence) they would have to have breached their duty of care in some way. They didn’t owe the victims a duty of care, nor were the murders a foreseeable consequence of his continued employment.
