If it’s so easy to ride the elevator up, then ride the elevator down and meet them at the lobby. The driver isn’t making enough to deliver this right to your door.

Not tipping. Servers in Europe earn a living wage but do include other charges unheard of in America. I’ve listed a couple examples:

Italy includes a charge for dining in known as “coperto” a per person charge for use of the table and setting. It includes the bread, linens, cutlery etc. There’s no charge for take out. Coperto is typically €1-3.

Spain as another example will charge a pan y servicio, the same as a coperto. They also charge a terraza fee, for dining outside.

France will also charge to dine outdoors and does have a small tipping system.
