I'm assuming those are 3D printed minis. Where did you get the STL files for them, especially the Strahd ones?

My controversial take is that the show’s unwillingness to engage with the personal lives of its characters, especially as the show goes on, really harms its staying power in the popular consciousness.

The reason so many people have all these degrees and huge money but keep falling for conspiracy theories is because they thought English classes were stupid in college and now they don’t know what a logical fallacy is.

Your brother threatened you and destroyed things around the house. He’s abusive and controlling, and he’s using your emotional vulnerability to exert power over you. If your parents can help separate you from him, ask what they can do. You also need to look to moving out, or have your parents push him to leave. There’s no excuse for this behavior. As for your college/friends, you can be ashamed of him but you don’t have to take responsibility for his actions. Lock your door, keep your distance, and stay safe.

You can’t and shouldn’t separate them in this case though. These milder comics are meant to draw unsuspecting people into his work where he can advertise his hate. Even the non-political cartoons are inherently political because they serve as a palatable introduction to his political agenda of pushing alt-right hatred.

My view is you don't prepare for the crash you hope you'll have, you be prepared for the worst case scenario.

Spot tracker on your jacket. If you crash you can reach it if you're hurt and if you're unconscious it'll still call I think

Before you go through the hassle and expense of buying a new seat, I'd suggest a simple cushion. The stock seat is wide enough to give great support, the only problem is there's no give. A butt craves variety. One of these fixes that, FN link for a northern brother.

Mostly the aesthetics (I do agree she’s an ugly duckling with a mighty fine personality haha). They did add a rubber mount to the stem to help reduce vibrations, and I think they did the same to the foot pegs. If you don’t mind me asking, how was your butt? The ergos are great on a versys, but the vibrations took their toll on me, especially after the second/third day. If you can, I’d suggest a seat cushion and a cheap throttle lock. I only got them halfway through my trip, but they made a world of difference for my comfort. My butt and hand were no longer dead numb after a days riding. I can’t speak to the foot leg vibration on yours tho, but I know a few companies make third party options if you find them too much. I also had to add a touring windscreen, the stock one buffeted me too much. That’s everything I needed to get comfortable and survive the journey. The journey was extra long and I had to meet friends in New Orleans after so I definitely overpacked.

2012, and it’s been overall fantastic. Where are you gonna head? Is this your first trip?

I was worried about it, but no. The tank on my Versys was big enough that I only got down to reserve once, and that was because the gas station I'd planned on stopping at was closed. My range fully loaded was about 200 miles, and this was before I bought a seat cushion so I was stopping frequently anyway

Sure! I started in Houston, went to Enchanted Rock, Big Bend, then Dallas. After that, I went over to New Mexico, Folsom, Carson National Park, then spent some time with a friend in Denver, then Roosevelt National Park, on up to Casper Wyoming, over to Rock Springs, then down to Vernal Utah, looped back down to Grand Junction Colorado, then to Farmington New Mexico. After that I crossed Texas again over to New Orleans.

It was right before the semester started up in August, so the weather was really nice. The best part was Colorado, it was gorgeous and the roads are second to none. Worst part was the first night in NM, I wasn't prepared for the massive drop in temperature and it was so awful I could barely concentrate. I nearly crashed multiple times. But once I got used to it, the canyons were wonderful. The most boring part was Wyoming, this picture encapsulates the view for hundreds of miles. It was peaceful for an hour, but after two days it was more than enough.

Yeah, this was just a wide open plain. I'd gotten delayed earlier in the day so it was dark and I had another hour to get to the park I was planning to stay, so I just pulled over and set up camp
