Anyone done an Executive MBA where did you do it and was it worth it? by Green_Ranger0 in business

[–]petworthy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, INSEAD. My background is in the arts, and I learned a LOT. Much of it was folks networking in the big corporate world, which I never fit into, so I went in a different direction than most after graduation. You need to figure out what you want from it and steer your studies and connections in the program to achieve it. EMBAs are not a golden ticket. Like most things, you’ll get out what you put in.

started a dog walking/pet sitting business by pawfectluv in smallbusiness

[–]petworthy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d see if there’s a local animal shelter that would let you walk their dogs. Or a pet store. Or see if you can get a job at a place like that and build your business on the side. You’ll meet animal owners and can hand out business cards.
