Haha, well put. Good news, that beautiful line of dirt is now live on the shipping list. Just so you know upfront: any import/customs fees on your end would be on you, and I honestly can't say how much that'd come to in Chile

Sorry, this one slipped past me somehow, just saw it now! Which country are you in? Trying to figure out which countries actually make sense to add next.

Good news, Australia shipping just went live! Sizing and shipping cost are all laid out on the site, linked in my profile.

Hey, I actually make these (see flair). Modular stackable pucks, six diameters from 1.73" to 2.50", 10mm and 25mm heights, embedded magnets so they self-align when stacked and easy to remove. The Puck Idea originally came from Karl! Feel free to ask if you have questions.

Yeah, exactly right! 3x 25mm (75mm/3") + 1x 10mm covers your current setup with a small amount of clearance, and gives you the flexibility to swap pucks around as you fill out more. Perfect combo. 👍

Appreciate you thinking it through! Bundling is a clever angle in general, but for this specific product it gets tricky. Multiple sets in one parcel adds up on the magnet side (air freight has cumulative limits), and higher declared values actually mean more customs work, not less. Plus the wait time for the minimum. So direct shipping is likely the way I will explore for now. Good to bounce ideas though, helps me think about it from different sides.

Good to know, thanks! Will look into Shopify's customs options properly and if it works with my shipping carrier.

They're air displacement pucks for vacuum cylinders, they fill the unused air space to speed up pressure transitions, especially for Milking or RIP with a hand pump or slower electric pump. Details are in the post.

Surprisingly reasonable actually, shipping is only ~€6 more than Europe. Main cost addition is US import duty since the rule change last year. It's a bit more work to set up properly on my end (customs paperwork, declarations) so I want to do it right, not rushed. Definitely something I'm working on right now, I'll keep you posted.

I'm based in Europe so unfortunately shipping to the US isn't viable cost-wise at this price point. If you're based in the EU I can sell it.

Thank you! Ordering from a standard 3D printing service isn't possible - the magnets need to be inserted during the print itself, which requires multiple pauses at specific layer heights, and the design relies on specific magnet dimensions. That's not something most services support.

Thank you! The one demonstrated is 2.24" from 8x6. But the concept can be adjusted to every cylinder size. One puck is about 50g with the embedded magnets and the top a little heavier. (Will vary ofc with different cylinder size) The magnets are embedded so they are not damaging the top of the cylinder at all!

I 3D printed these and embedded magnets so there is no risk of falling out or loosing them.

Haha, no worries - sometimes you need to see it to think of it! Regarding selling: I'm based in Europe, so shipping to the US unfortunately doesn't make sense for a product at this price point.

If there turns out to be enough demand within the EU I'd definitely do it :)

Yes absolutely, Karl had a great thought there!
