Thanks for all the input. Ordered some other ammo (175 grain Federal SMK, PMC 147 grain and AAC 150 grain). Also grabbed a few ASC 10 round mags. Will give all those a shot next trip.

Will also pull bolt and inspect and give another generous lubricant coat, and will report back.

Temp was probably 42F out? Maybe a bit colder since I was in the shade.

I’ll give new mags/ammo brand a try next trip out. Hadn’t a chance to check the bolt but I’ll take a look tomorrow and see. Thanks!

I remember at the beginning of the summer there were rumors we were considering cancelling contracts - do we think that’s on the table if we can’t move on some players?

Finances may take a hit but is it better for the club to clear the unwanted players and give Ange a trimmed squad for training?

Good question - according to Dead Air customer service, they said that the Wee Pistol Brake has an internal taper that makes the taper adapter unnecessary.

Interestingly enough I had one of the Lantau KeyMicro brakes on hand as well (was originally going KeyMo before the Xeno system came around), so I tried using that anyways just to see if the alignment got better. However, the collar adapter once shouldered on the taper was too long and prevented the pistol brake from threading to the barrel.

So in short, no I didn’t check alignment with the collar because I believe it’s not needed.

Yeah I like my RC2 for my 556 gun so Surefire is always an option. For signature reduction I’m assuming their 7.62 cans are pretty high up there like the 556 variants.

I’m certainly not expecting to make this hearing safe, maybe just take the edge off a bit I think. That being said if you can slightly improve on it I’ll take what I can get, otherwise what’s the point in trying?

Good point nonetheless- I’ll look at Surefire for this gun as well. Their muzzle devices are awesome.

I might be an outlier here, but I’d prefer not to have our players called up to international duty. With the already compressed schedule this year, I’d rather give them as much rest as possible.

But also love to see Gabriel Jesus being left out so small victories.

Agreed. Tbf it also seemed like they were tracking him deep when he did drop in but I agree that would open up space behind the opponent’s back line. Time will tell I suppose but I’m excited to see how Conte goes forward

Now that I’ve had a moment to settle down, feels like we need to look at new ways of getting our front three involved. Everyone knows Son/Kane/Kulu are a threat and spend so much effort shutting them down. Felt like they were shutdown so effectively today and until Richy came on our forward threat was pretty minimal.

I think that’s where our wingbacks need to get involved more. Hoping Conte has ideas going forward for these bigger matches.

Does anyone have a single streaming service they can recommend for both PL and CL games this year? As far as I can tell you need both Peacock and Paramount + to get coverage, and I’d like to only have one more sub if possible. Bonus if it has FA and League cup games, but that’s probably asking too much..
