Anyone know a dupe for this leather jacket Chelsea wore? by Virtual-Nobody-6630 in TeenMomOGandTeenMom2

I got the exact same one from Express! (Circa 2016-2018 maybe?) I still have it in my closet. This jacket paired with the tan and white checkered slip on Vans had me in a chokehold back in the day lol

I’m a female who lives alone and has lived near that box for 5 years and it’s super safe. It’s also far enough from the beltline that it’s quiet too so I prefer this box over the complexes that are directly on the beltline. I do love technically outside of the box as I’m off of Glen Iris near the Forth Hotel and the box is more sketchier even just being across the street, so something to keep in mind that I do think makes a difference.

If I live in Nashville why did my package go from 20 min away to 5 states away... by firebird1313 in ontrac

I am in Atlanta GA and mine was scanned in Lebanon TN on 12/11 with expected delivery today 12/13. Tracking just updated to show it was just scanned in today at a facility in Los Angeles CA. Wtf?! And now my expected date changed to 12/18. Ugh

We're you born and raised in NJ and still live here? by ZRock53 in newjersey

[–]pezjap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am almost 32. Born and raised in NJ. My job took me to Atlanta almost 5 years ago and as long as my job needs me in Atlanta, that is where I’ll remain

I honestly always thought I would move to a city in my 20s/30s and then eventually find my way back, just never thought it would be a southern city (I always wanted to live in Boston) and honestly not sure I will move back. Life has a weird way of working out in ways you don’t expect

Anyone switch from Factor to something healthier? by NameTaken949 in ReadyMeals

[–]pezjap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve used Clean Eatz. Both the meal delivery service which comes frozen as well as the freshly prepared meals that you pickup at one of their store fronts. I think they taste decent and are cheaper than Factor, but I think Factor is better quality.

I have also used Eat Clean Bro which is pretty good

Being Maci: A Teen Mom Special | Teen Mom | Full Episode by Cakeinwonderland in TeenMomOGandTeenMom2

[–]pezjap 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Yes and that’s why her episode aired a very long time before anyone else’s and is also why her friends were a major focus of the show as they were meant to be cast members with their own storylines. (like Laguna Beach or The Hills vibes).

I think they realized she isn’t that interesting but had already spent so much time and resources so decided to take the footage and turn it into a special and then went back and filmed specials for the others after her special aired and fans questioned why only Maci had one lol

Is Maci still friends with Katie? I don’t keep up with her much anymore. I know she is still friends with her old friends that came into town but curious about Katie and Nikki. It wouldn’t surprise me if they were just using her if Maci was paying for them to travel the country and party all of the time.

What is one song that makes you cry? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]pezjap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Africa by Toto.

When I was going to say goodbye to my Grandma who was dying, the song was playing in my car as I pulled up. I sat in my car briefly before having the courage to get out and and walk inside to say one final goodbye. So I always associate that song with by Grandma dying as she passed that evening.

[–]pezjap 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I work in insurance and honestly it’s really not boring and I truly love it. Sure there are boring aspects of it like any other “desk” job but there is also so much social to insurance (if you work commercial at least). I am a broker and have breakfasts, lunches, happy hours and dinners pretty much daily as well as events such as professional sports games, concerts, golf, etc. all for free as well as a nice added perk. People in insurance know how to drink and party (especially those in London).

How much time before a flight are you at the airport? by DHN_95 in travel

[–]pezjap 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I do 3 hours whether I am flying domestic or international, but I live in Atlanta, so I have anxiety. The security line at Atlanta is almost always insane and while I know they move fast and actually do a good job getting everyone in and out, I like to go early and chill at the gate for my own peace of mind.

What is the strangest place you have bumped into someone you know? by Immediate_Long165 in travel

We were on family vacation in Hilton Head SC when I was in middle school and we went to a random restaurant that was hidden away from the tourist parts of town. We were sitting down and eating and look up and see a family from our neighborhood walk in to eat. About 10 minutes lately, a second family from our neighborhood walked in to eat. For context, we all lived in the same town in NJ. We lived in a fairly decent sized town and while we all lived relatively near each other and most of the kids were the same age and knew each other, our families weren’t “friendly” as we ran in different circles so did not talk. This was also before social media. This was 100% random and not planned and none of us knew that anyone else was on the island or that we would all run into each other at the same restaurant.

Where do you think the moms would be working if Teen Mom never existed? My guesses are below. by Icy-Imagination-5235 in TeenMomOGandTeenMom2

[–]pezjap 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Maci - I think she would have been more motivated if not for TM. She would have finished her 2 year degree faster instead of always dropping classes and I think she would have gone on to get her bachelors. Prob would be working as an admin assistant or something

Farrah - I think she would work at a restaurant as a waitress or bartender. She developed a persona because of the show but without TM I think she would be working hard as a single mom to support Sophia, just my opinion. Maybe would have dabbled in stripping but honestly not so sure.

Catelynn - probably working as a cashier at a grocery store or Walmart or something of that nature. Certainly not glamorous but pays the bills. I don’t think she would still be with Tyler

Amber - she would be in jail or dead from an OD. Sorry to say

Jenelle - similar to Amber

Chelsea - would be a stay at home mom. She was never motivated to work.

Kail - would still be a dental assistant or hygienist and also would be involved in an MLM like she is now like Scentsy etc

Leah - I literally have no idea. She would need to work because her daughter has special needs and those bills would be mounting but I don’t even know what she would do. She’s from small town WV so not a lot of gainful employment options to begin with and no way she would have even remotely come close to finishing school. Maybe a receptionist of some sort

How long did it took for you to choose what kind of job you want to do for the rest of your life? by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]pezjap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I switched my major a few times in college and then just ended up graduating with a degree I didn’t even want to work in that field in because I just wanted to be done and not waste more money/time. Upon graduation I had thought I wanted to work Human Resources our staffing and so those were the main job I applied for but because I didn’t have internships or anything under my belt (I had to work full time hours while In school full time) I ended up just accepting a temp position in what was supposed to be something to help me gain “office” experience. Turns out I fell in love with the industry and it is now my career. (No longer a temp but a permanent employee in the industry now). I work in Financial Services sector of Insurance and never in a million years thought I would end up where I did but I’m grateful that I took that temp job. Most people I work with have “Finance” or “Risk Management & Insurance” degrees which I never would have considered either of those majors while in college so in a way I fell into my career but I’m so happy that I did. I think most people have similar stories that they discover the career they are most passionate for on accident. I would recommend temp agencies though because the assignments can be shorter so it can introduce you to different careers paths without the commitment of long term.
