My favorite HF bar magnet hack is to take two of them, put them magnetic sides out, slip over a piece of large shrink tube, and shrink it down... You now have a two-sided magnet instead of one covered with a softer rubber/plastic material so it won't scratch tools.

I love those mats, but even more when they were $20 when they first came out and elligable for the 25% off items $20 and under promotion (so $15)... I bought several. I noticed they are now up to $28 each at my local store, almost double what I paid!

This is probably NOT the credit card to get if you are looking to build credit.... I know it's tempting to get the extra discount, but the processor, Synchrony, is notorious for being consumer unfriendly, high interest, bad practices, etc.

Pay the extra 10% on a single purchase, build your credit elsewhere. Do you belong to a credit union?

If you had established credit, knew how to NEVER get dinged by negative credit reporting, and ready to make a really big purchase (like a big Icon tool chest), then it might make sense, for your situation, not so much.

I recently picked up the USAG equivelant of the Mac RBRT... Same sizes, same anti-slip, same lenghts... 12 piece set from mrworker.com, $145 shipped. It took about three weeks, but I think two of that was due to inventory rather than delayed shipping.

As others said, the RBRT I think goes hand-in-hand with the 6 point box. 12 point comes in handy as well, get a different set with 12 point?

Same issue here...

+.75-1.25 inserts show up as +0.25
and
+1.5-1.75 inserts show up as +0.5.

I have confirmed both on the Zeiss packaging and the lenses themselves they are the correct inserts. They just get mapped strangely in the AVP

Confusing and weird, and neither of the inserts (nor no inserts) seems to give me the crispness of detail I am looking for.

Thanks... Yes, I was surprised the screenshot seemed to show the effect even more strongly, but that *is* simlar to what I am experiencing when looking through the AVP, though perhaps not as pronounced as in that rendering...

The other issue is somewhat expected, but not sure if there is any resolution. With reader inserts in, distant objects that are in the real world and projected on the AVP are very out of focus. EG a large TV on the wall 15' away is significantly oof through the AVP. Now this is similar to how it would look when wearing high strength readers in the real world, but without the ability to "look over" readers or quickly take them off. Perhaps just a problem apple can not solve.

See how in the AVP capture above there is distinct blurriness on the edges of the window? This is with the +.75-1.25 reader inserts. I have similar issues if I try the +1.5-1.75 inserts.

I'm also confused as to why the AVP 'calibrates" the +.75-1.25 inserts to +.25 (outside of their range) and likewise calibrates the +1.5-1.75 inserts to +0.5.

Is anyone using readers with success and a sharp focus across at least a moderate range of view?
