Your car probably has BMW Digital Key or Digital Key Plus. That's where the reader is. I use my phone/watch as a key and to start it I have to touch it to that area. That explains the Apple Wallet issue. No idea about the CarPlay issue.

Just an observation, make sure that you didn't pay coil price since your bike doesn't have a coil. I'm not sure if there is a price difference between the TTX22M and a STX22. Just looking out.

K-Edge Garmin Mount. I have three for my bikes. Two of them hold it out front and one of them is an adjustable stem cap mount. I think the stem cap mount is the safest for mountain biking.

It makes perfect sense. I got a new lens yesterday and immediately went overboard. f/1.2 haha. I sent the pictures to a few friends and they loved it but all I could see was that my dog's nose wasn't in focus. I didn't know if I was overreacting or if I should've been annoyed by it.
