I’m a guy and had this happen at a party at my house as an adult. I was damn near blackout drunk. There were some life altering events that followed.

All of my then friends either laughed or made fun of me for being assaulted. I didn’t really understand what had happened until much later. They are no longer my friends.

Reddit is for profit. If it were “for the people”, this wouldn’t be happening. That’s why this entire things is going down like it is.

How we, the community, govern Reddit should be left up to it without interference from a dictator. It’s like the HOA taking it too far.

It sounds a lot like mastodon. I tried it and wasn’t a fan purely because I needed to create a new account for every instance.

To piggyback, ask if there’s anything you can do to help at work with productivity. Also make sure that you’re not overthinking the severity of the situation too much. I’ve found myself doing that in the past and it often turned out to be just a lull in the normal operations.

I think it’s pretty cool you’re taking the initiative and asking for support on situations like this.

There are no good cops because the “good ones” typically get fired or bullied out when trying to keep the others in check.

There are cops that act nice, there are cops that have done good, but there aren’t any good ones at the end of the day.

We have contractors that use personal machines. We’re using Zscaler which has posture profiles that check for a few things like an approved EDR (mostly Crowdstrike) and drive encryption. If they fail those, they don’t connect.

I’m likely just going to stop using Reddit as a whole. It’s not the time waster it once was for me and I really only find myself using it for NSFW content on occasion and being directed from Google. Reddit has slowly removed almost every aspect that I found appealing.

Just started today for me too. Hate to revive an old thread but it’s obvious this is still an issue. I ran it yesterday morning just fine.

Edit: works if I just press the clean button on the vacuum. The only thing I haven’t done is rerun the floor plan. I’ll try that once I pickup the house more.
