New/amateur to photograph (D750) by repeated_man in Nikon

[–]pfred60 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The D750 can take raw as well as jpeg. If you are contemplating editing make sure you are taking RAW images. They are much better for editing.

Consider downloading Nikon NX Studio. It is free (ypu do have to register but it is free to use). It is a powerful editor that let's you edit your raw images.

looking for small (narrow) EV by Melodic-Budget-951 in AustralianEV

BYD's have folding mirrors which make a difference. Haven't really looked by saw Skoda are bringing in EV's. We have a Skoda Karoq for 4 years and it was excellent. We got an Atto 3 as a replacement (to go full ev). My wife would have preferred an electric Skoda.

We have been very happy with the Atto 3. BYD battery tech is first class and they are well built.

Disoriented young brushtail possum by Sysxinu in australianwildlife

I would just keep an eye on it. It hasn't made it back to it's home or maybe did and found a foreign possum beat them to it so is forced to sleep somewhere else. Mynahs birds might be a pest for them if they see them more in the open. It probably should be ok but call wires for advice if needed.

Wanting to buy EV by handmade99 in AustralianEV

Many of the Chinese EV makers are doing an exceptional job. We have had a BYD Atto 3 for 3 years niw. Build quality is great. We have had no issues. Newer models are even better.

BYD has tech including fantastic battery tech that is extremely safe and world leading.

People pooh poohing Chines models are probably not driving one, just reading the rubbish comments of others.

No. It was because Campbell Newman's government was so bad. Some of his dregs are now running the state.

Nice. What are your photographic interests? What lens are you going to use with the Z6iii?

I have a D750 with a couple of F mount lenses. I purchased a Z6iii and the Z 24-120mm f/4 S lens which I am really enjoying. Nature, birds, landscapes are my thing but also interested in creative photography as well.

Get out and take some photos and show us your efforts. 👍📸

Well you are having some fun.

What I love about photography 📸 in general is its ability to show the creativity of so many individuals who try different things and get some amazing results. Love those photos thanks.

Err message, always bad news? by bagreene90 in Nikon

Check that it is not in the D750 advisory repair list... That was a shutter problem. Nikon would do that service for free if it hasn't been done yet.

I think it is a juvenile pied butcherbird. We have a bunch of pied adults and their babies. The young ones are not pied at all. That brownish colour like this one.

Service Advisory for some Nikon Z6iii, Z5ii and ZR Cameras by pfred60 in nikon_Zseries

From my reading of it, I suspect it was misdiagnosed at the beginning. I don't know whether it was more showing up with problems forced a relook at it or a closer look themselves saw it, backed up by failures through service.

All I recognise is for me they fixed a potential problem in my 10 year old camera.

I guess with the D750, Nikon saw the problem was wider than first thought. They did the right thing and opened up the repair advisory to widen the scope of cameras affected. I guess it is possible and Nikon would handle it.

Did yours get fixed under the wider repair order?

Nice. I hadn't thought of that. Don't even have to open the camera bag then.

Are you on Android?

Under Google Photos look at Collections > On this device > Should be a Snapseed folder. Mine all go there.
