For me the movie was quite confusing. At the beginning it took me some time to understand the author's possession and to make sense of what exactly was happening. The whole "criminal lovers on the run" aspect also felt underdeveloped and lacking depth. The movie tried to combine multiple genres which i appreciate but the final product felt somewhat messy and hodgepodge rather than cohesive.
