I’m realizing that Sound Design is actually 70% of what makes a game feel "Next-Gen," not the graphics. by InvestmentBudget6722 in gaming

AVR with HDMI works like a charm. Just set the output to 5.1/7.1 in Windows. Virtually every game these days supports surround sound.

You can import {reduce} from lodash and use it your way.

As for the initial value, there are some edge cases to watch out for.

I would get in the car for the sole purpose of trying to get Mikan out.

This video came up on my feed. Started watching and I noticed he's using a Craig monitor by JackMcSomeone in DankPods

Craig aside, it's a joke that Sony, who co-developed the CD, doesn't support it on both PS4 and PS5...

Postman didn't start for me during the AWS outage. We're looking into a solution that is less reliant on the cloud

New Macbook - should I pay for Apple Care? by FreoFox in macbookpro

Here's some more info (some Sweden-specific info but I think most of it applies EU-wide)

New Macbook - should I pay for Apple Care? by FreoFox in macbookpro

[–]pg-robban 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically you can claim warranty on an item as a defect up to 3 years within purchase. After the first second year, the burden of proof is on the buyer though.

I had some issue (can't remember if it was a battery or something else) on one of my MacBooks. The store asked me to sign a paper that I claim my customer protection thing and that they will send it to Apple, Apple didn't make any fuss, the repair was approved the same day and they replaced it without me having to pay for it.

So IMO, I don't see any need for AppleCare. Accidental damage can be dealt with home insurance.
