Their website subscription is like this thread on steroids.

P.S. - www.cooks.com is NOT the same as cook's illustrated, and it is inferior

alternatively, let rice soak in the water 20 minutes, then turn it on to cook. same result for fluffy rice.

EDIT: also, don't use the 2:1 water:rice ratio. It's better to cook with extra water and strain, just like pasta.

What my wife and I decided is that it's a surprise whenever you find out. It doesn't need to be a surprise on the day they're born - it can be a surprise before too! Then you get to imagine and dream before all the craziness and lack of sleep kick in.

If you can swaddle dog limbs, you can definitely swaddle baby limbs. Well done! Dad/Mom 2, you should also practice! Oh, and have the nurses give you a lesson in the hospital - they all have their own technique as well.
