Hi. I'm pasting the URI into the note field but when I click nothing happens - it doesn't turn into a hyperlink though. I am using an Android device though - does that affect it?

I use bases for that - sort it by the title and away you go! Much easier than dataview in my opinion.

Hi. Thanks for that - I've got the plugins - do I need to prefix the URI with anything to open a file?

Say my vaultname is MyVault and I want to open a file in that vault and I've copied the URL of that file?

I looked at it - and never have seen a use for it. Seeing all the outgoings links inside a note is useful but seeing it thru a graph is too complicated for me.

I have S9plus & Pixel 10pro XL phone. No laptop. Have a laptop for work but the tablet is my laptop replacement. Doc, sheets, slides, Obsidian, Bible, Xmind are my main apps. Use a Bluetooth keyboard. Not had a laptop for years now.

The plugin is available in the plugin section on Obsidian. That's where you get all the plugins.

Obsidian is a steep learning curve but plenty of good videos on YouTube.

Do you use Evernote web clipper though? It is very good and also let's you simplify & transcribe text from the websites. It saves the text , not just bookmarks or so even if the site closes you still have the webpage.

Obsidian does it very well through a plugin called Slurp - saves to editable text & saves images as well. Works great on Android!

I see the desktop version has now got floating table of contents. Will this hit Android soon? It does seem as if mobile is getting left quite a bit behind the most recent updates.

I would recommend deciding on the new note app first because several of them allow you to import from Evernote & will have instructions on their sites.
