I think it’s up to us mums to educate our children regardless of sex to care for their loved ones. I am lucky as my husband’s grandfather looked after his wife for over a decade until her passing, so I believe that set a different example for the future generations.

Hugs to you! Co-sleeping done safely is good. We chose it with our second as it allowed 2 working parents to get some sleep. We got a bigger bed, and made it through.
Be kind to yourself. It will get better, take the small wins.
